Pretty Pink Posh + WOW! Embossing Powder Blog Hop

Hi there friends,

A very big crafty hello and welcome to a very special Blog Hop collaboration with the WOW! Embossing Powder & Pretty Pink Posh design teams. You should have arrived here from Olga's blog!

We are going to bring you a fun hop where there are PRIZES from both companies up for grabs, and lots of inspiration!
The crafters involved in this hop are going to bring you an array of projects, colouring inspiration and a variety of ways to have fun with both Pretty Pink Posh & WOW Embossing Powders collectively.

I received such cute items from Pretty Pink Posh, I was really happy with them and couldn't wait to use them! On my first card I used the Bold Bloom stamps and coordinating dies to create all these tiny little embossed flowers. I chose a few different patterned papers and embossed the images with WOW Opaque White Regular embossing powder.

I created an A2 size top folding card base and stamped my sentiment on it with a very light blue ink. This sentiment is one from the fabulous Everyday Greetings set. I love love love the font and all the sentiments, so I'm sure I'll be using these often!

I die cut all the little flowers, stems and leaves and arranged them on my card base. Once I like the look, I glued them down. I added a strip of patterned paper at the top as well as some Nuvo drops, to finish up my project.

Next up is a card where I stamped and embossed the whole background using two leaf stamps from the Bold Blooms stamp set. I used the WOW Oyster Glintz and Mayan Glintz embossing powders. They are super pretty, pearl like colors! I trimmed off a bit from this panel and glued it on an A2 size top folding card base.

I then die cut my sentiment "Lovely" with the help of the Pretty Pink Posh Lovely Script die. I die cut it once from patterned paper and a bunch of times from white card stock. I glued them all together to get a more dimensional piece.

I adhered this onto my card front. As a last step I added some Pretty Pink Posh jewels, in Sea Glass colors. I glued them down upside down becaue the color on the bottom fits my card more.

I think this third card is my favorite! I love colorful things! I created an A2 size card base (this time in landscape orientation). I started stamping on an A2 size white card stock - I didn't plan this out at all. I was alternating between the different flowers and stamped them at different heights. What I love about this set especially is that there is a stamp for each flower and leaf to add color to them. This way I don't have to spend time on coloring! Love it!

I stamped and embossed my sentiment (same stamp set as before) with WOW Primary Ebony Regular embossing powder. Some black ink splatters and done!

I hope you like these projects! Let me know what you think!

Friendship - DT layout for Paige Evans + Silhouette

Hello crafty friends,

I'm back with a new layout I've created for the Paige Evans + Silhouette Design Team!

I decided to go with the Flower cut file (Design ID: 269071) and my favorite papers from the beautiful Pick-me-up collection!

In Silhouette Studio I designed my page: I multiplied the flowers and changed their direction so they don't all look the same. I arranged them in a circle only leaving space for a photo in the middle. Then I sent it all to my Cameo.

I always plan to back multiple cut files like these with different papers but then I always end up backing them the same way because there's too much thinking involved and my brain can't take it haha! But I do love monochromatic layouts so that's OK. I glued them down on my background paper.

I layered some tissue papers and tags behind my photo and adhered all to the background paper. I then went through all my embellishments and pulled everything out that I thought matched. I was pretty happy to find the Friendship chipboard because this picture is of me and my best friend in the whole world! We've known each other for 25 years (oh.my.god)! Actually as you're reading this, she will be arriving to Barcelona with her twins to spend a week with us on holiday woot woot! I love her to pieces!

I added another chipboard piece and a few die cuts. I felt like this layout didn't need more! Oh, I splattered some gold ink around the page too.

I hope you like how this turned out!

Thanks for stopping by today! I wish you an awesome day!

Card inspiration - DT project for Pinkfresh Studio

Hi there friends,

I'm stopping by to share some new cards I've created for Pinkfresh Studio with gorgeous new products from the July release!

On these first two cards I've used the beautiful Fancy Floral 2 die. This is actually a layering die, when you use it together with the Fancy Floral 1 die, it creates a beautiful layered look. However on these cards I only used one panel.

My idea was to cut this panel from different color card stocks and then doing inlay technique to add color to a white card. I'm bad at throwing away stuff so I used one of the coral panels too. I cut off some parts of that die cut and glued the remaining piece on a white A2 size top folding card base.

I added some gold splatters and a triangular piece of white vellum, which I used for my sentiment. This sentiment comes from the Bloom stamp set. I stamped this with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added some crystals to finish off this card.

On the other card I did add color with the inlay technique. This took me ages but I think it's worth it, I love how that looks. I didn't want to cover up this background of couse, since I spent so much time on it. So I decided to only add a sentiment strip and some gold thread. This time I embossed the sentiment (from the same stamp set as before) with gold embossing powder. Some gold ink splatters and crystals and done!

On my next two cards I've used the Pretty Paisley stamp and die sets. I love the folklore feel of this stamp! First I cut a paisley shaped window in a 4.25"x5.50" white card stock. Then I put together my top folding card base: I attached a piece of grid patterned paper from the Simple & Sweet collection to my white card base.

I stamped a bunch of flowers in colors that coordinate with the Simple & Sweet collection and tucked them behind the paisley window. What I forgot to do before assembling this card was to stamp the sentiment. I'm happy it stamped at all! Finally, I added a few enamel dots in matching colors.

For my second card I stamped the paisley one time as well as two of those pretty floral pieces. Using foam adhesive I attached this piece to my A2 size top folding card base. I then stamped it again, using different colors (but all from the Simple &Sweet collection) and die cut it. For this pisley I didn't use any foam adhesive, I just glued it down as is, then trimmed off the excess.

.

To finish off this card, I added some enamel dots and my sentiment.

That's it for today! I hope I could inspire you in some way!

Happy crafting!
