Somebunny sweet...

TGIF to all of my Easter celebrating peeps!

The big weekend is upon us and I can't wait for that yummy ham dinner with my family on Sunday. Even though we don't have anyone hunting for eggs anymore I still look forward to enjoying eggs in all their forms, whether they be deviled, chocolate or candy coated... LOL! For my final Easter card this year I really wanted to ink up this darling Somebunny Sweet Pure Innocence that I got recently. And because it has been ages since I've played along in the MFT sketch challenge I took a look to see if I could make it work with the cutie I had just colored up and it did. The pastoral background that I colored in was totally inspired by the amazing Jane Allen, who is one of my personal coloring super heroes. All in all I think this card came together in a cute CAS way that makes me quite happy. :)

Easter blessings to you all!

Happy Easter...

Hey there!

I figured I had better get this card that I made for the March TGF release featuring the Enjoy set up here on the ol' blog before Easter Sunday. For this festive scene I paired the sweet chocolate bunny with decorated eggs and a sentiment from the Eggstra Special set. He's got a whole field behind him to find just the right spot to go hide them before the kids arrive with their Easter baskets. In the foreground I added some cute polka dot flowers for some extra cheer. :)

Ok then, I'll see ya in 24!

Hello sunshine...

Olo!

For as much as I love the Tiny Townie Garden Girls from Stamping Bella, I haven't gotten near enough of them on cards yet. So I figured using Garden Girl Daffodil on a fun and cheery Easter card would help get another one checked off my stamping goals list. I stamped her in Memento desert sand and masked her off before also adding a bunch of daffodils from an old Penny Black set that I stamped repeatedly behind her. Once I had Daffodil and the flowers all colored up I extended them further into the distance by scribbling in lighter yellows and greens which gives the illusion of a vast field of happy Daffodils bobbing gently in the spring breeze. With all this floral fun going on how can I not enter this card into the current "beautiful blooms" challenge over on the Stamping Bella Facebook page? ;)

Happy Easter...

Hey there!

I'm back with another card creation that I've made for the 7 Kids Customers Create Facebook page. With Easter less than a week away I really wanted to get these new bunnies from the Mama Elephant Hippity Hop set inked up. I thought it would be super cute to pair them up with this oversized Happy Easter sentiment from Impression Obsession and have them interact with it by doing simple masking of some of the bunnies and a few of the letters as well. This gives the impression that there are bunnies frolicking both in front of and behind the large letters. And because I stamped the sentiment with a light pink ink, not only is it pretty but it allowed me to do no-line coloring on the flowers that decorate it as well... win/win!

Ok then, there is still plenty of time to create something for our "sequins" themed challenge and as always there is a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids store up for grabs!

Some bunny loves you...

Good morning!

Ok, I couldn't help myself and I've got another Easter card using a Whimsy stamp to share today. This time I did some no-line coloring on the adorable Hungry Bunny stamp. He's so soft and squishy looking that I just want to hug and squeeze him. Looking at all those carrots he's accumulated I wanted to color in the scene of the crime, so to speak. So I added garden dirt complete with empty holes that he has plucked the veggies from. Hopefully the farmer doesn't come along an catch this cutie stealing his crop. ;)
Once again I am going to enter this into the current "anything goes" challenge over at Whimsy Stamps
