I'm Back!! With Ally's Angels Challenge #29

Hello there dear crafty friends!!!

It's been SO LONG since I have posted!!  It's been a crazy year here and I finally found time and energy to colour...boy am I out of practice!!!

I had the urge to work with one of my favourite stamp lines...House Mouse...I decided to make a gift bag for a friend...

Here is what I came up with...

I started with a sliver bag...
added some Maja Design paper from the Christmas Season collection...
framed with some silver trim from Michaels...
the big red ribbon and red "Merry Christmas" ribbon is also from Michaels...
I stamped "Merry Christmas" with Stazon onto some chiffon ribbon...

this darling image is "Sock Hop" HMJR1004...

doesn't it just make you want to break into "We Wish You a Merry Christmas"??!!...

I had SO much fun colouring again...hoping that I can get back to the craft room on a regular basis!!

Ally's Angels Challenge #23-"Anything Goes"

Hello dear crafty friends!

It's been a while once again!!  Sad to say that my craft room is feeling very neglected and I myself would REALLY like to get back down there and feel some inspiration...which sadly has been alluding me of late 😟!!!!

Anyway I'm here today with our monthly challenge at Ally's Angels...which as always is "Anything Goes"!  Ally is once again offering up a fabulous prize to one lucky winner...so come on over and join us!

Here is the card I made for a bridal shower that I attended recently...

I made a simple 6x6 card using white and silver card stocks... 

for the image I used this Heartfelt Creations heart/floral stamp...

stamped and embossed using silver embossing powder then accented the rest of the white card stock with Vintage Wine Frantage...

I made some Foamiran flowers that I chalked up with Memento Plum ink...

then added some accenting sprays...

"find joy everyday" is one of my "go to" saying from a Hero Arts set...
I also stamped it on the chiffon ribbon that's attached to the florals but it's hard to pick out in this photo...
