imagine

Hi There
It's my turn on the blog today!
I would like to share with you a mixed media project.

The background has been layered with stamping and texture paste, using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Die 'mixed media' as a stencil.

The Poppies have been stamped out and coloured with Copic alcohol markers, I have cut them out
and collaged them down.
The face is drawn using various media.

Supplies used:
Darkroom Door Background Stamp: Circles
Indigo blue Stamp: Limor Circles
Indigo Blue Stamp: Ickle Poppies
Memory Box Die: Sketchbook Imagine
Sizzix Thinletts Die: Mixed Media

You can get all of these supplies from Bizzy Becs and you still have a few
days too take advantage of her terrific EOFY sale with 10% to 30% off!

thanks for stopping by

Flowers

Hi Fellow Crafters.
Today I want to feature this great little gem I bought at Bizzy Bec's.

For a very reasonable price you get stamps and dies that may be made up so many different ways.

Items Used for this card:

Background embossed and stamped over with Versamark Ink and covered with pearl powder.
Joy Crafts Dies & Clear Stamps - Flowers 2 pcs
PoppyStamps Dies - Leafy Sprig
Stampendous Clear Stamps - Friendly Phrase

Here are some other ways to use the set.

Hearts:  Stitched Hearts
With pearls in the centres of flowers.

I'm sure you could work out some more flowers using this little gem.

I do hope you have all had a good month so far.
God's Blessings everyone and enjoy the rest of the month.

Darkroom Door Sail Away + WaterColour Distress

Hi there everyone, Shaz here!
Back with another card with the wonderful Darkroom Door set - Sail away!
First a peek, then to the how to!

I gathered up sea coloured Distress Inks, as shown below + links at bottom.
Added inks to white coated mat (plastic coated lid from takeaway). Laid down a generous layer of water on watercolor block, then randomly added colours with large brush and water till happy. Did need to add more ink to palette before finishing.
Stamped on scraps two images with my favourite stamping ink Black Onyx Versafine, heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
Completed watercolour piece now dry.. as you can see colours very random, cut to fit a 5 x 7' base for card.
With two stamped images, inked with similar colours as used above, also DI Fossilized Amber from moon reflection.Ovals used to cut out window, added die cut frame, shaping it a little, adding mounting tape. Used largest and 3rd largest for die frame.
 Supplies used:
*All are Pre-order
* Darkroom Door Sail Away Stamp set.
* Lawn Fawn So Much to say ... birthday greeting.
* Distress inks
Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans,  Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire.
