Beautiful Birthday

Happy Saturday!  This fun card began a couple of weeks ago when I made this card for the PTI Create Along With Us challenge. It was a CASE of Amy Sheffer's gorgeous card HERE.

I couldn't bring myself to throw away the negative die cut of this lovely watercoloured paper so I played around with a few supplies and turned it into a birthday card with some shiny gold paper to glam it up.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a glorious day!

When I am with You

TGIF everyone!  My how the weeks are flying by!  I've been slipping down to the studio in the evenings this week as I have a couple of special cards to make for February.  First up is the card I made for the DH's birthday next Tuesday, Groundhog Day!  I picked out some patterned paper that could be classified as masculine and kept the layout simple.  The sentiment panel needed a little something on the right so I dug through my wooden embellishments and found the perfect heart :)  Feeling like some shopping therapy this weekend?  Head over to the Verve Store to see the current Love Sale and some new sequins!  Have a great weekend!

Hi friends!  I was playing in the studio on the weekend and had to finish this card I had started.  I had the patterned paper, banners, and doily on it, but didn't know what else to add.  I dug out my "hearts" box and found some old tickets from Making Memories.  I stapled it to the doily and added a Valentine tag that was in a pack of labels I found at Michaels.  Card FINISHED!  I'm building up my Valentine card collection to take into work next week.  Thanks for stopping by!
