Challenge #197 - CAS (Clean and Simple)

We invite you to join us during the next two weeks for the CAS challenge at The Crafter's Cafe.  There are several prizes up for grabs - so keep it simple and post your entries.  You may enter up to 3 times - any project - with a maximum total of 10 challenges entered.

This image,"Special Sweet Joys". is furnished by Mari Digis.  I colored her with Prisma pencils, and added a grassy die cut by Die-Namics.  The other edges are shiny green and gold stickers from Hot off the Press.  The sentiment is an acrylic sticker from my stash.

Once again, the QKR Stampede weekly challenge is anything goes.  Come join us for a chance to win some of the great images available at their shop.  My choice this week is "Bethlehem with Verse",   I am always looking for something to express the celebration of the first Christmas - as well as an image I can use for multiple fairly quick cards.  I selected the QKR Stampede image "Bethlehem with verse" as well as one of several Merry Christmas sentiments found in the QKR/Eureka shop - in a variety of fonts.  We hope you join the fun - you may enter as many as 3 times before 6 p.m. on Thursday.  
To complete the card I used red cs dry embossed with stars (Cuttlebug), a gold gift bag recycled for the frame,  and a piece of gold twine.  (Note:  the metallic gold does not look gold here on the screen, and the stars are much more visible IRL.)
