ODBD - Oh Beautiful for Spacious Skys!

I am so excited to share with you a sneak peek of this month's Our Daily Bread Designs release! This wonderful verse is from the new set called Our Daily Bread!

I decided to use this week's MMSC 60 for my sketch. The verse was stamped with Fire Brick distress ink, and the edges were sponged with Old Paper Distress Ink. The DP is from Karen Foster Stars and Strips Collage paper. For the background I ran the striped portion of the paper in the stars cuttlebug folder, and then distressed it a bit with a sanding block.

To finish off the card, I added some deep red gems, red taffeta ribbon, and a USA charm added with some twine.

KSS - Get Well Soon!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday! I needed a get well card this week, and the first image I thought about was this adorable Teddy Bear from the 3 step Get Well Teddy set!

The Teddy Bear was stamped with the following colors: Step 3: Brushed Corduroy, Step 2: Tea Die, Step 1: Tea Die again, Step 4 Walnut stain (all distress inks). The carnations were stamped with Step 2: Regal Rose, Step 1: Pretty in Pink, Step 3: Rose Red.

ODBDSLC19 - The Lord Bless You Bookmark!

Happy weekend!! I was really excited to have some time to play in this week's ODBDSLC19 - where we were to make a bookmark! For my bookmark I used one of the June released sets from Our Daily Bread Designs called From Me to You!

I also used the sketch from this week's MMSC59. The DP is from Basic Grey's Capella, and the pearl flourish and tiny paper flowers are from Zva Creative. The background was dry embossed with a cuttlebug folder. To finish off the bookmark, I added some Chocolate, Cream and Green Satin Ribbons.

ISC - Take Flight!

Hello!! Isn't this new image from Innovative Stamp Creations just sooo yummy!! It is a new set called Take Flight which was released just this week!!

I colored my image with copics, popped the butterflies up with dimensionals. The background was dry embossed and then sponged with a bit of walnut stain distress ink. To finish off the card, I added some yummy faux suede ruffled ribbon!

Hello! I have a real quick card for you today. I soooo love this verse from the newly released Scripture Series 1 set from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I am also in love with this beautiful Basic Grey Capella paper! So very yummy! To finish off the card, I added a bit of green satin ribbon, and a cross charm. Simple, but I think the verse makes such a statement, it did not need much more!

Now on to my Christmas in June card I have for you today! I used one of my favorite Christmas sets...Multi Step Build a Garland! This set is just sooo versatile, I LOVE it!!

I stamped the pine bough twice with the following: Step 3: Handsome Hunter, Step 2: Old Olive, Step 1: Mellow Moss, Step 4: Always Artichoke.

I then added the bow in the center stamped with the following: Step 3: Rose Red, Step 2: Regal Rose, Step 1: Pretty in Pink, Step 4: Real Red.

Finally, I stamped two pine cones with: Step 3: Brushed Corduroy, Step 2: Tea Die, Step 1: Tea Die stamped off, Step 4: Walnut Stain distress inks.

To finish off the card, stamped the sentiment, I used some Basic Grey DP, and some Pink Grosgrain Ribbon!

The Blessings of the Lord be Upon You!

Hello! I have a quick card for you today that I made for this week's SNTODBD12 - which is an inspiration challenge and can be seen on the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog! It uses the newly released set God Loves You from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I stamped the flower image multiple times, added the sentiment and then cut it out with my creative memories oval cutter. The DP is from Tim Holtz collection....can you say yummy!! To finish off the card, I added a bit of ribbon across the top, and a Zva Creative pearl flourish.

KSS - With This Ring....& what!! I am on the Cover!!!! :)

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! Here we are at another start of the week, which means it is time for more Kitchen Sink!! For my card today, I have used the newly released Multi Step Wedding Rings set! LOVE this set, you can make such simple yet elegant wedding cards like the one I have for you today!

Now, if you come to my blog often you may think something is wrong since this card is only two, yes two, layers, but I did not want to take away from the wonderful image and the elegant cuttlebug embossing folder!

The image was stamped as follows: Step 4: Basic Black, Step 3: Basic Grey, Step 2: Going Grey, Step 1: Going Grey stamped off.

To finish off the card, I embossed it with the Flourished Frame cuttlebug folder, and then accented the embossed box with some grey ribbon.
