MMSC69 - Mockingbird Lane!

It is Tuesday, which means time for another Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge...this weeks MMSC69 can be seen here below!!

Just have fun and come play with us :)
For my card, I used the new Mockingbird Lane image from Sunshine and Giggles...how fun is this image! I had the theme song to the Musters in my head the entire time I was making this card!! LOL!!

The image was colored with copics, and I added a bit of glassy glaze over the windows, and sponged the image panel with Pumice Stone and Tea Die Distress inks. The base layer of the panel was cut out with the spellbinders lotus pendent die. The bat DP is from Making Memories Spooky Alley package. The base panel was dry embossed with the divine swirls cuttlebug folder, and then I outlined the swirls with some stickels. To finish off the card, I added some black glittery brads, distressed all the edges of the card, and added the sentiment (which is computer generated)!

KSS - So Sweet of You!!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! Today I made a card using this week's sketch from Get Sketch #53. I decided that I wanted to make at least one more summery card before fall hits us...so I reached for one of my favorite summer sets from KSS - Multi Step Berries!! Love these strawberries!! They were stamped as follows: Step 1: Rose Red, Step 2: Riding Hood Red, Step 3: Real Red, and Step 4: Basic Black. They were then punched out with circle and scalloped circle punches from Stampin Up!

I layered the strawberries on a piece of Basic Grey DP from the Eskimo Kisses collection. The pink base panel was also dry embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder. To finish off the card, I added the sentiment along with some red gems, and some olive ribbon from May Arts.

Please head on over to see what my fellow crew members have created today!

Darkness Can Not Put out the Light!

I hope you all are having a great weekend! I sure am...it has been full of stamping! What more could I ask for! Today I made a card for this week's ODBDSLC24 - to add texture to your card! I also used last week's CPS181 for the sketch!

As you can see the texture I have for this card is the fun ribbon from May Arts, and the wonderful antique brads from SU! The sentiment is from the newly released Light set which is surrounded by one of the Flower Frames from Our Daily Bread Designs. I cut the sentimetn panel out with a Labels 8 nestablities. The DP is from Basic Grey's Capella Package, and to finish off the card, I rounded all the corners with my Zutter 1/2" corner rounder.

Oh now before I head out...I want to show you a bit of a sneak peek from next month's ODBD release...we are only giving snippets of our card this month...like a slice of bread if you will! :) Hope you enjoy this one...I will post the full card after the Blog Hop next week, which will be on September 1st!!

Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope you have a great weekend!
