ODBD Sneak Peek!


Hello! Sneak peek time for Our Daily Bread designs! Here I have used the Joy Tree image. I did the emboss resist technique by heat embossing the image with clear embossing powder and then sponged it with garden green ink. I then cut the image out.

The DP is from Basic Grey, the ribbon is some wonderful hand dyed silk ribbon from the Really Reaonsable Ribbon store, which is topped off with a vintage brad from Stampin' up! Oh and the embossing folder is from Cuttlebug!

O Christmas Tree


Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! I have another Christmas card for you today! I am so loving this wonderful Satin ribbon with metallic edge from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store! The perfect accent to ANY Christmas Card!

I so love this multi step tree image from Kitchen Sink Stamps! I stamped the tree as follows: Step 1: Certainly Celery, Step 2: Garden Green, Step 3: Garden Green and
Step 4: Handsome Hunter. I then added some red stickles for some decorations! I also used this week's sketch from the Kitchen Sink Stamp forum.

Fall Flowers


Hello! I have a quick card for you today! Here I have used the wonderful Tiger Lily set from Our Daily Bread Designs! I have done something on this card that a rarely do...I have only used white card stock! I know! CRAZY! :)

I stamped the flowers in memento black and colors them with copics. I then stamped the sentiment from the Seeds set with honey comb distress ink and then distressed all of the layers with the same ink.

To finish off the card, I added some orange ribbon from the Really reasonable ribbon store, and some pearl flourishes from Zva Creative.

First Christmas Card!


Happy Kitchen Sink Monday! So I know it is only September, but lets face it...before we know it Christmas will be here! EEK! So I decided it was time to start working on some Christmas cards!

I have used this week's sketch from the Kitchen Sink Stamps forum - FSCC37. I so lobe this poinsettia set! The flower is just so easy to stamp! The colors I
used are as follows: Step One: So Saffron, Step two: Rose Red, Step three: Real Red, Step four: Bravo Burgundy, Step five: Basic Black. The leaves were stamped with Handsome Hunter and Basic Black.

The wonderful DP is from Basic Grey, the gem flourish is from Zva Creative and the black checkered ribbon is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!

Tea Party Invite!


Hello! I needed to make some b-day invites for my daughter, and thought of this fun fold! I saw this wonderful Origami Diamond Fold tutorialon YouTube by my dear friend Wendy! It really is super simple with a big WOW factor! :)

The fab ribbons I have used on this card is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.
I layered the white ruffled satin ribbon with some thinner teal satin ribbon, tied in a bow with a bow easy!

The fun tea set is from There She Goes stamps, which was stamped and then layered on a lacey square nestabilites from spellbinders.

RRR Autumn Challenge!


Hello! I made this card for this week's Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge - make a card or project with an Autumn theme. Here I have used the wonderful Pumpkin image from the Our Daily Bread Designs store.

I stamped the image 4 times, colored each image and then trimmed 1/2" off each
layer. I then sponged each layer to give it the dimensional look. To finish off the card I used some DP from Bo Bunny, and added some olive wrinkled satin ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store!

Happy 50th!



Hello! Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!! So one of my dear friends turned 50 this
weekend, so I just had to make her a card! Here I have used the multi step balloon set and the 1/2 pint alphabet sets!

I stamped the balloons with Basic Black, Basic Grey and Going Grey! The numbers were stamped with Basic Black and Going Grey. The DP is from SEI, and the ribbon is from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store! The sketch is from this weeks FSCC over on the Kitchen Sink Stamps Forum!

Mustard Seed Seed Packet


Hello! I have a quick card for you today! Here I have used the Seed Packet set from Our Daily Bread Designs! What a fun set! So many possibilities to add to the beautiful seed packet image! Here I have stamped the wonderful Mustard Seed verse with Rusty Hing Distress ink. I then distress the seed image and the verse with Scattered Straw, Honey and Rusty Hing Distress inks.

The DP is from the Bo Bunny Forever Fall packet, the brad is from Stampin Up, and wonderful silk ribbon is from the the ribbon is from the really reasonable ribbon store!

ODBD Blog Hop! Tiger Lily

For my card today I have used the beautiful Tiger Lily set along with the Seeds
sentiment set. I colored the Lily image with copics, and cut it our. I thought this corner image would be perfect on a criss cross pocket card. The DP is from Prima papers. To finish off the card, I added some wonderful crochet ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store, along with some half backed gems from Zva Creative.
