New from Little Claire - Georgina's Rosettes

I'm back today with some cards made from the third new stamp set which has just been released by Little Claire - this one is 'Georgina's Rosettes'.  You get various different rosettes and sentiments but the other great thing about the set is that you can use them with any of the other Little Claire circle sentiment stamps or die cuts.  The set is here on the website and there's also a gallery with lots of inspiration.

For my first card (above) stamped one of the rosette heads and the ribbon tail on to patterned paper using black Versafine ink and then cut them out.  I also used one of the circular sentiments from the set again stamped with Versafine on to white card and cut out.  You can't see it properly on the photo but I then used Glamour Dust in the outside circle of the sentiment with a Quickie Glue Pen.  I've layered the card with kraft and paper to match the rosette.

For my next card I used a different rosette head and this time scored and folded it to give dimension.  My sentiment is from the 'Save the Date' set and this time I attached the stamped tail with little foam pads to give it some depth.  The paper I've used is from a Trimcraft pad.

Finally, I made a Christmas card which shows that you don't have to use the set as rosettes - I layered up two sizes of the rosette heads using foam pads to make a topper finishing it with a sentiment from the 'Christmas Sentiments' set.  The paper I've used is from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas Modern pack.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Happy Campers Craft Collective - 'pink and brown' (first card)
Moving Along With the Times - 'seeing red' (third card)
Cute Card Thursday - 'letters and numbers'

First Birthday Blog Hop - The Squirrel and the Fox

Hello and welcome to my part in the Squirrel and the Fox blog hop.  If you have come here directly from The Squirrel and The Fox blog, then you’re in the right place. If you just happened to stumble upon my blog, head back to The Squirrel and The Fox to start at the beginning and read how the hop works. You can also see all the amazing prizes up for grabs.

To celebrate one whole year of The Squirrel and the Fox, the team are giving away some wonderful prizes. There’s even an individual prize for just landing here on this page.

To showcase their work, each DT member is also showing off some of their favourite creations.

I've created my card using 'Ursula's Polka Dot Outfit' from The Digi Garden - you can find it here on their website.

The prize that is being given away from my blog has been generously donated by The Digi Garden and it is 7 digi stamps!!

To win this prize, simply leave your comment below (which you are doing anyway as part of the hop), become a follower of my blog and at the end of the hop I will randomly draw one winner. Remember, to be eligible for any prizes, you must complete the entire hop.  The blog hop will finish on Friday 12 October.
Thank you for visiting.
Now you’re off to visit Hilde. Happy Hopping!

New from Little Claire - Owl Family

I'm back today with another new stamp from Little Claire - this time it's the gorgeous 'Owl Family' which you can find here on the website for £5.50.  In my first card (above) I've decoupaged the trees and the larger owls and used some paper from Craft Creations layered with kraft paper and blue card.

For this second card I've used paper from the Back to Basics III paper pack again layered with kraft.  This time I've just decoupaged the owls and the sentiment I've used is a peel off.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - 'anything goes'
The Sisterhood of Crafters - 'happy birthday' (second card)
The Paper Shelter - 'anything goes'
Shopping Our Stash - 'fur or feathers'
Crafting for All Seasons - 'things with wings'

New from Little Claire - Baby Changing Tree

Two new stamp sets plus a very cute stamp design have just been added to the Little Claire website and over the next week I'll be sharing the cards I've made with all three.

I'm starting with the latest addition to the 'Changing Tree' collection the very cute and useful baby embellishments.  There are six different embellishment stamps in the set and it's available here on the website for £3.99.  If you haven't bought the tree before (the same tree base stamp works with all the sets of embellishments) then have a look here for the original set or here for the Christmas version.  If you're a club member make sure you have a look at your latest newsletter for a special offer on this set!!

I've used the embellishment stamps to build up the tree and also to make a separate strip down the side of the card.  The paper I've used is from Craft Creations and I've also use some silver peel off strips either side of the embellishment strip.

Here's another card made with the set:

On this card I've also used 'Georgina's Buttons and Stitching Stamp Set' which is available here on the website.

I'd like to enter my cards in the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - 'anything goes'
The Paper Shelter - 'anything goes'
Crafts and Me Challenges - 'favourite colour' (second card - pink)
Creative Inspirations - 'bingo' (blue, white and stamp - first card)
Clear It Out Challenge - 'child image'
Party Time Tuesdays - 'anything goes'
Totally Papercrafts - 'for a child'

New Challenge at Penny's - More Than One Fold

Today we've got a brand new challenge on the Penny's Paper-Crafting Challenge Blog and this week our theme is 'more than one fold'.  For more details about the challenge and to see the cards from my fellow Design Team members, please click here.

This week our challenge has been sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs, Eye Candie Creations and Some Odd Girl.

I have used 'Japan Honey' to make a simple stepper card.  The paper I've used (which has been in my paper box for years!) is from Crafty Bitz and I've also used some gold paper, red/gold peel off borders and gold Card Candi.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.

We're also having DT call - we're a very friendly bunch and you will get lots of gorgeous digi images to work with - have a look here for all the details.
