Little Claire Class - Be the First

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I designed for one of the Little Claire classes I taught recently.  The first one (above) was made using the very cute 'Yes Miss' stamp which you can find here on the Little Claire website.  I used Bazzill card to create a gatefold card, added patterned paper and finished with some Card Candi.

This second card was made using the 'Garden Shelves' stamp which you can find here on the website.  I've decoupaged some elements on the design and also scored the card at the left hand side to create a spine on the card.

I'd like to enter these cards in the following challenges:

Crafts 4 Eternity - 'cute as you like' (first card)
Happy Campers Challenge - add dimension (second card)
Southern Girls Challenge - 'the kids are allright' (first card)
I Love Promarkers - 'spring is in the air' (second card)

Creative Craft Challenges - 'for the kids'
OLLCB - 'it's a man thing' (second card)

Aimi With Lantern

Today I'm sharing a card that I made a little while ago using a Lili of the Valley stamped called 'Aimi with Lantern'.  It was one of my first experiments colouring darker hair - usually all the people on my cards have brown hair but I decided to have a try on this one at darker hair and was quite pleased with the result!

The backing paper I've used is from an old Kanban sheet and I've also added some self adhesive gems and some black Card Candi.

I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Crafts and Me - 'pink'
Bearly Mine Challenges - 'girly pink'
Through the Craft Room Door - 'anything goes'
CRAFT Challenge - 'mother's day/female'
Simon Says Stamp Challenge - 'anything goes'
Party Time Tuesdays - 'anything goes'
The Pink Elephant Challenge - 'clean and simple'

Nutcrafters Challenge Reminder - Spring is Here

Just a quick reminder that our current challenge on the Nutcrafters blog is still open for entries - our theme is 'Spring is Here' and you can find the challenge post and all the details here.

For my mid-challenge card I've used another of the gorgeous digi images that will be on sale from Nutcrafters very soon - isn't it sweet?  I also used some red card, polka dot paper and Card Candi and some gems on the image panel.
