#124 Triple ‘B’ – See post for details

Pamellia is hosting today and has chosen the Triple 'B' for her challenge. You need to pick at least 3 of the 5 options below and use them on your project. Not 3 butterflies for example, but butterflies, birthday and buttons would be 3 and so on. So please to make it clear you have to use at least 3 from the list, not 3 of just one on the list.

We have a lovely prize of a sheet of Aspects of Design Flitters and Flutters Stamps

AOD
If you fancy a nice mixed media/altered art challenge please come and join our Sister site The Mirror Crack'd where we have an Anything Goes mixed media challenge until 3rd October.

Now over to our DT for some fabulous inspiration

For my three 'B's, I chose Blue, Butterflies and Birthday. I used Spellbinders Foliage dies to make some flowers and Tim Holtz Tag die to showcase my sentiment.

Leslie
My three Bs are blue, banner and buttons.
I created this background by stamping on photo paper with ink on a small acrylic block. Floral images and sentiments are by Gina K Designs.

Josephine

My B's are blue, banner, butterflies and birthday! I've used dies by Spellbinders and Marianne, paper from Papermania and some liquid pearl.

Lin

My three 'Bs' are Blue, Birthday and Butterflies. Sarah Kay image coloured with copics and on an embossed and coloured background.

Suze

I went for blue, birthday and banners.  I used fabric scraps for the banners which I machine stitched on, blue cardstock and ink, oval dies and Stampin Up sentiment and framelit.

Sally

I chose Butterflies, Banners and Birthday. I used Hobby Art stamps for the butterflies and coloured them with Copic's and a touch of glitter and Glossy Accents.

Kimx
I chose Butterflies, Blue and Birthday for my card.
I used a background made with my Gelli Plate, a Stampendous Butterfly stamp along with a Hobby Art Birthday greeting.

Carole

My three are: Birthday, Blue, Buttons. This is an 8th birthday card for my friend's son, Connor, made with Crafter's Companion Angelica and Friends CD ROM.

Happy Crafting!
and also by
with a $12 gift certificate

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!
Some Inspiration from our DT

Jackie
For my project, I have used a pringles (but you can use a supermarket own brand) crisps tin as the base and have covered it in some docrafts designer paper, and some ribbons, lace,  pearls and flowers from my stash.  This is ideal for storing table candles... instructions on what to do are on my blog!

Viv
I made a vintage themed shabby chic card for this challenge using a much neglected (but very pretty!) stamp and a recycled lace rose.

I have put together an anniversary card using some Memory Box, Spellbinders and Tim Holtz dies, I decorated with lots of ribbon, lace and pearls and some wonderful stamps.

Kimx
I have used a favourite stamp and colour combo for my card.
I added tiny black pearls to the dry embossed background and finished it off with a large  Organza bow and black button from my stash.

Image was a freebie from Sugar Nellie, coloured with Copics, with some glitter
modge podge added to the wings and cupcake frosting.

Lin
My image is Sarah Kay and all the diecuts are from the lovely Joycrafts. Lace coloured to match the card.

And finally introducing our two newest members
Sally

Hi everyone, I'm Sally Dodger, and I live in the lovely town of Whitby, North Yorkshire with my many animals. I have been making cards for a few years now, but only started blogging last January. Like many other crafter's I started out doing Counted Cross- Stitch and also some sketching and painting. My real passion however is for card making and paper crafts. I am excited to join the Crafty Cardmakers and More Design Team and looking forward to seeing all your fabulous creations.
The Image is from a Hobby House Art Pad, coloured with Copic's, with ribbon,
lace and pearls as accents.

and
Leslie
My name is Leslie, I'm married with two grown children and one granddaughter, and I live in north Florida. I began scrapbooking about 40 years ago, way back when scrapbooks were really bland - before all the fun papers and embellishments came about. For the last 20 years or so, my paper passion has been card making. I started out making computer-generated cards, graduated to card kits, then quickly realized that having my own stash of stuff was the way to go! The rest is history, as they say! I'm addicted to rubber stamping and also enjoy making 3-D paper projects, especially paper shoes and mini albums, and have been known to alter a few tins and boxes. Thanks to my sister, I also started beading and making jewelry about a year or so ago. A huge thanks to the Crafty Cardmakers and More DT for welcoming me aboard

Image and sentiments are from Unity, and double-sided papers are from KaiserCraft. Embellished with crocheted lace, wrinkled ribbon and flat-back pearls.
