Layered stamping

This is the sketch for day 71 on 365 cards super sketch Sunday:

and this is my take on it, using Joanna Sheen stamps and some card offcuts.

This is also being linked for Rosie's challenge 35 on Rosiedee.

Make a note of it

'Make a note of it' was the challenge for day 77 on 365 cards, where we were asked to 'incorporate note paper on your cards'.

The background paper is the inside of an old envelope and the 'Just a note' is stamped and coloured with ordinary colouring pencils on a scrap piece of notepaper. The wired flower embellishment is PM.

As this uses two recycled items, it's also good for this month's challenge on Joanna Sheen.

Living on the edge

This is for Laura's sketch 26 on 2 Sketches 4 You:

It's also for day 82 on 365: 'living on the edge', where we were challenged to 'decorate at least 3 sides of your card'.

Again the papers here are Craft Creations Green Meadow series. I've threaded organza ribbon through the holes made between the scallops on the 3 edges.

Candy coming soon ...

... the last time I offered candy I had completed two years of blogging and had 30,000 hits. I said then that when I get to 40,000 I'll offer some more to celebrate. It looks as if the time is fast approaching, so I'll sort something out soon - watch this space!

Talking of candy, click on the top picture of my sidebar to see what Net is offering!

365 cards day 78 super sketchy Sunday

This is for 365 cards day 78 super sketch Sunday:

It's similar to a couple of cards I've shown before recently, with matching envies (they are in a kit). The ribbon is a sticky PM one.

Hearts and butterflies

I'm still catching up with 365 challenges. This is for day 64: super sketchy Sunday:
This is also for Cuttlebug Be Inspired 32: hearts and butterflies.

The hearts are embossed with the cuttlebug folder on Core'dination card and distressed. The paper on the left is one designed by Nel Whatmore, a pad that came with Quick Cards made easy. The butterflies have been in a little unopened pack in a box for ages. The ribbon is a sticky PM one (from long ago).

Spring is in the air ...

... and hopefully summer's on the way.

My card uses the sketch this week on Crafts 4 Eternity challenge 32:

and is also my first entry for Cute Daisy May challenge blog - challenge 12 to use spring flowers and colours.

Papers are Craft Creasions Green Meadow stripes, butterflies, narrow stripes and Green Texture.

The butterfly stamp ' Swirling Wings' by Lindsay Maison (one of my favourite stamps) was stamped with versamark and heat embossed with clear gold (which, unfotunately, doesn't show up on here as well as it does irl - it's much more vibrant). The scalloped shapes were cut on my cricut.

The Crafts 4 Eternity challenge needed to include stitching, which is within the ribbon.

New copics

Postie's just been and brought me some more copics. Although I've already got quite a few (well, a few more than quite a few) I hadn't got many lighter shades, so these will supplement my collection:
