Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper October 2016 challenge

This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper October 2016 challenge - please click on the link to see the lovely creations of my design team ... and we hope you will join in our challenge - anything goes as long as you have used some patterned paper.

I used papers from the Downton Abbey range by Crafter's Companion and also the sentiment panel and framed flowers, with the matching metal domed embellishment with the same roses picture.

CHNC challenge extra for October 2016

The challenge is always sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and I used one of my favourite images kindly supplied by them snowflake reindeer silhouette and I also used frosty digi paper for the background, wrapping around with a piece of grosgrain ribbon and adding a flower with pearl.

Penny's challenge 297: anything goes

This is my card for Penny's challenge 297 - please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope to see your entries for the challenge.

I used the lovely A random fan snowman & company image, kindly supplied by them as one of the sponsors of the challenge. I coloured the image with spectrum noir alcohol pens and sprinkled on some Art Institute white sparkle glitter, having used a quickie glue pen in places. The image was cut and embossed with a cross hatch todo die - I then went round the edges of the embossing with the quickie glue pen and poured on some more glitter.

I used some lovely white pearlescent paper embossed with snowflakes for the background, using an A5 tent style card blank. I matted this on to a holographic red card cut with a larger die. Chipboard pieces were from Hobbycraft and flowers with pearls from Poundland.
