Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June 2017 challenge

It's the 1st of the month and that means that there is a new challenge over on my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper challenge blog.

So this is my card for Craftyhazelnut's patterned paper challenge for June 2017 using lovely pastel papers from Hot off the press (I've had these for a long, long time). This was a commissioned card. I used a couple of delicate butterflies from Hobbycraft and the lovely pink sprig of leaves made up of beads (can't remember where I got it ... ages ago and knew it would come in handy one day). The little bird was from The Works and sentiment circle from Anna Griffin.

CHNC challenge extra for June

As it's the 1st of the month, it's time for CHNC challenge extra for June 2017. Please click on the link to find out all about it, see the lovely designs of my DT ... and I hope you will get out your Christmas stash and join in the challenge - we are now getting towards halfway through the year, so it makes sense to get on with Christmas designs now before it becomes a panic.

Bugaboo Stamps always generously sponsor my CHNC challenge extra and provide images for the team to use and showcase. The image I've used is cat topper Christmas, which is pre-coloured - I mounted on to a piece of red mirror card. The background card and washi tape were from The Works and the wooden snowflakes from Sainsbury's last Christmas time.

Penny's challenge 331

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 331, where the theme is 'anything goes'. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

For my card I used the lovely Sasayaki glitter image 'Lucy in the rain', kindly supplied by them as sponsor of the challenge. All papers used were from my offcuts box. The main ones are much more shiny and 'blingy' than they look in the photo. The image and the mat were cut with Spellbinder's marvelous squares dies. I used a Kanban sentiment panel, small black gems from Poundland and flowers from Hobbycraft.

CHNC challenge 335

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 335 - please click on the link to see what it's all about and I hope you will join in with the challenge - it makes sense to get on with Christmas creations while there is plenty of time to enjoy doing so without any panic ... almost at the end of the fifth month of the year ... scary!! The challenge is anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the option of 'use some gold'.

I used a lovely Elisabeth Bell topper, matted with a gold circle cut on my Scan n cut from an offcut piece of pearlescent card. The background paper is Webster's pages. Punched stars were made with small offcuts of the gold pearlescent card, with added gems.

Penny's 330: anything goes

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 330, where the theme is 'anything goes'. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

I used Bugaboo Stamps catch the bug rainy day image (Bugaboo are one of the sponsors of the challenge). This was coloured digitally using Microsoft Paint and then printed and mounted on to the yellow pearlescent card, adding the printed sentiment before backing on to a piece of embossed gold card, with gold peel off strips on either side.The DL card blank is kraft.
