CHNC challenge extra for September 2017

As it's the 1st of the month, it's time for CHNC challenge extra for September 2017. Bugaboo Stamps always generously sponsor my CHNC challenge extra and provide images for the team to use and showcase. The image I've used is angel big star, a retired Bugaboo image. This was coloured digitally using Microsoft Paint before printing.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September 2017 challenge

It's the 1st of the month and that means that there is a new challenge over on my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper challenge blog.

The background papers were from an Anna Griffin set bought some time ago - the paper on the right has flocking on it - very touchy-feely. The rose was black foiled and cut on the todo and mounted on to two mats cut with todo art deco dies. Ribbon, flowers and greeting from stash.

Penny's challenge 344

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 344, where the theme is anything goes. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

I used the lovely hollyhocks image kindly supplied by Fred she said as a sponsor of the challenge. I used a gold stardust background and a matching frame to showcase a lovely paper that I upcycled from an edition of Daphne Diary. I printed the image and mounted over this, finishing off with a Papermania bow. Everything was mounted on to a yellow card blank.

CHNC challenge 348

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 348 - please click on the link to see what it's all about and I hope you will join in with the challenge - it makes sense to get on with Christmas creations while there is plenty of time to enjoy doing so without any panic ... although time is rushing by because by the end of this challenge we will be into September already.

The optional theme for CHNC challenge 348 is 'use something old'... but anything  goes as long as it's Christmas.

For my card I used one of my oldest Christmas stamps and one that I still count as a favourite, Santa collage by Rubber Stampede. I inked with black versafine and embossed with black detail powder. The papers are some that I've had for some years. The bright washi tape is from stash.
