Penny's challenge 357

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 357, where the theme is anything goes. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries. 

I used some elements from Paper Creator gone fishing, kindly supplied by them as one of the sponsors of the challenge. I printed out the given image a few times and decoupaged, on to the background paper from Just for men signature collection by Sara Davies from Crafter's Companion.

CHNC challenge 361

For my cards I used a couple of offcut pieces as backgrounds on the white card blanks, adding paper and sentiment circles from a very recently purchased Craftwork cards Christmas past collection, as well as Dovecraft Glad Tidings doilies

Penny's challenge 356

This is my design card for Penny's challenge 356, where the theme is anything goes. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

I used the lovely pre-coloured Cute as a Button tangled lights image (Cute as a Button is one of the challenge sponsors this week).

The background paper on to a dark brown card base is unknown - thanks to Nicola I now know that the paper is 'a krafty Christmas' by  Dovecraft - the banner on the left was among some bought recently from TK Maxx - foiled and very shiny. I cut the image with a todo cross hatch die, brushing within the die very lightly with brown corduroy distress ink, although this doesn't show in the photo.

For my card I used a background from a Snowman kit purchased a couple of years ago, with the large sentiment piece from an old Kanban kit, with a couple of 3D snowflakes from The Works.
