Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May 2018 challenge

This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May 2018 challenge - please click on the link to see the inspirational designs by my team and we hope you will join in our challenge using some patterned paper.

This 8 x 8 card was commissioned. The background paper was from a magazine pack - the photo doesn't do it justice as the butterflies are silver foiled and the leaves etc around the bottom are foiled as well. I added the open weave hessian (I'd had some in my stuff for ages and not used any for a long time), alongside a lovely piece of lace. The material and pearl flowers and the chipboard butterflies were from The Works. I added the little sentiment panel which says 'Sorry for your loss'.

CHNC challenge 383

This is my card for my CHNC challenge 383 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of 'for a child'.

The embossed background was created using mirror card with an Embossalicious embossing folder. The lovely big topper is from an old Kanban kit - the snowman, child and dog are embossed. I added the peel off greeting (they still come in handy sometimes - lol!).

A simple card made with an embossed card blank, with an offcut piece of embossed purple mirror card (star of wonder embossing folder), with a frame and topper from an old Kanban kit.
