Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper August 2018 challenge

This is my card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper August 2018 challenge.If you make anything that includes some patterned paper you can link your entries and you might be the randomly chosen winner of lovely Love to Craft Let's celebrate! papers and some extras as well. I used five different papers from the pack for the card, cutting up pieces from three of them. The large star is from the pack of printed tags, topped with the sentiment and the bow. The little frogs with one holding a balloon are part of a Penny Black stickeroo - they seemed to go so well with the papers and other elements.

I started this blog on 1 March 2007, so it's been going now for over eleven years. Since the beginning of the blog I've made over 6,700 posts.

During this time I have made many crafting friends in blogland and am so grateful for everyone who visits and for the many comments that are so appreciated.

I used to occasionally offer some blog candy as a thank you to my visitors, but haven't done so for a long while so thought it's about time I did so.

With love on your birthday

Some time ago I bought some boxes of notecards from TK Maxx with the idea of cutting up the boxes and using parts of the cards and envies to upcycle. This is one of the cards I've made, adding some stamping using Penny Black's floral silhouette inked with memento rich cocoa and adding a Kanban sentiment.
