Happy Christmas

Another card with a topper made with copper mirror card put through the lovely baubles embossing folder mounted on to an offcut of the pink Kanban paper, with glittered poinsettias from Italian Options.

The photo is a bit strange - at an angle so that I didn't get my reflection in the mirror card.

CHNC challenge 514

These are my design cards for my CHNC challenge 514 -  please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of  'something beginning with the letter H'.

Three simple one layer cards direct to the card blank, made using complimenting stamps that were bought with my Load n Fold from Rare Earth, using two different memento greens and red, colouring the berries with pencils (so that alcohol inks didn't show through).

More baubles

Another card made yesterday, this time with Kanban foiled snowflake background and the baubles embossing folder used with copper mirror card with Italian Options 3D foam glittered gold snowflakes and the sentiment.

Strange angle for the photo to avoid setting my reflection in the mirror card - lol!

Guest designer at Penny's Paper-crafty challenge 483

I was a winner for Penny's challenge 479:

and as a result I was invited to be a Guest designer for today's challenge 483:

I was so pleased to accept the invitation.

Challenge 483 is being sponsored by LeAnn’s World 101 and Bugaboo Stamps and I chose to use Bugaboo's Knobbly knees Christmas-wagon.

I coloured the digi with Chameleon pens, glittered the band on the elf's hat and cut  out with one of the lovely Spellbinder 'marvelous squares', mounting on to green mirror card. I decorated a side opening A5 card blank with Bo Bunny papers and stickers, also decorating the inside.

In emergency please break the glass

This is a commissioned car that I've made this morning. The request was for for a birthday card for a son-in-law who likes a beer. I wanted to make a box with a 'glass' front with a picture of a beer inside with the instructions 'In emergency please break the glass'. I used Docrafts nesting dies to make the frame which is lined with acetate for the 'glass', also die cutting the layers inside the frame. The frame with acetate was lifted with 3D foam. The instructions were made with tape with my dymo letratag. I added a matching paper inside for the insert and, as the recipient is very musical and plays guitar, I put one on the back. The card blank itself is a folded A4 from Kanban.

Photo at an angle to try to show the mirror card:

Enjoy every sunset

... and look forward to every sunrise

Something a bit different. This is a print out of a photo of a watercolour painting I did when I was staying in Whtstable last Autumn ... it seems much longer than a year now. It was the view from one of the windows of the cottage I was staying in. The card I used is DL ... an odd one I found in the box and liked the bright colour for this.

My original watercolour painting that I copied and printed:
