Some more news...

Afternoon everyone, I have some more good news to share with you, I have been asked to join the lovely DT over at Lovely hAnglar only. Aphrodite Willow...

Afternoon everyone, I do hope its warmer where you are, Brrrrr its very chilly here in Scotland but one good thing, we dont have any snow! (yet!!)

I have to things to share with you today, first is some fab news, A week or two ago I submitted a card into the dt call at The Paper Shelter challenge, And I am so, so pleased to let you all know I have been asked to join their team. I will be sharing my first official challenge card with you on the 15th February. I am joining the team with another 7 lucky girls, so wanted to say a big congrats to all that have been picked.

Okay, well its sunday so its time for a new challenge over at Paper Sundaes, our sponsor this week is the fabulous Tickled Pink Stamps and the prize is 2 tickled pink digital image sof your choice, how fab is that. We would like to see your Valentine/love themed cards.

Each of the DT were given a digi image of our choice from Tickled pink to use for our cards, I chose aphrodite willow, as I thought her dress would be fab to colour and I wasnt wrong.

The papers are pion designs, gosh how hard was it to cut into these!!!

Wild tilda, grrrrrr!!

Morning everyone, I really think I must have gone a bit mad,  3 posts in as many days!!! Must be something in the water, (and no its not wine!!!!). I think as I had to abandon all things crafty last week with my sore back, and I had quite a few new tildas just waiting to get used, I have been itching to get going, I dont know about you but sometimes my mind is just working overtime with ideas, all fighting to get out, could just be me! I am a bit loopy, or so I get told!

Antway, enough waffle, I have used Wild tilda from the latest magnolia collection, isnt she just adorable in her little tigger outfit? love, love love her! I decided at 10-30pm last night to make an oval card for the latest TOMIC challenge, now please bare in mind I do not have any large dies or a electronic cutter, so I had to search the house, (10-30pm at night!!!!) for an oval shape just the right size to make a card base. Couldnt find anything the right size, then suddenly remembered I had bought Card templates many moons ago, so conmences another 15min hunt in my now very tidy and organized cupboard ( so tidy I cant find anythin, I dont do tidy!!!). So anyway getting sidetracked again, as you can see I found them and made this card......

Wryn and frog prince..

Hi lovely bloggers, gosh 2 posts in 2 days, it wont last lol!!!

tonight I have a card to share with a little cutie who I have fallen in love with, Wryn and friends by tiddly inks, isnt she just too stinkin cute!!!

I had been trying to resist buying these but I caved in and bought the set of 5 but now I want the latest one with little Wryn dressed as a bunny!

She has been coloured with a mix of copics and flexmarkers. As much as I adore using copics I still havent found an aqua combo that suits me so I just head back to my trusty flexmarkers and promarkers for that. So if anyone has any suggestions for copics please let me know.

The DPs are mostly bo bunny, but the doily die is mme I think. The gorgeous heart came from Sara, thank you xx, the white star wand is one of those fragrance reed thingys, so it smells divine! it was in a christmas frangrance reed set that I bought from next at christmas.

Hi everyone, Im finally feeling a bit better, thank you all so much for all your get well wishes and cyber 'hugs'. My back is still sore but at least I am able to walk about and am hoping to get out of the house in the next couple of days, (slight cabin fever!! lol). I just had to give in and rest all weekend leaving hubby and Meghan to look after the house and the two terrors that are Maya and Alex!!

I have used tilda with heart balloons, I have used copics to colour and the papers are maja.

(and no Sara, I havent bought any new magnolia dies!! they were freebies!!! lol)

Paper shelter DT call

I am so glad I got this card made the other night as I havent been able to make cards as I just cannot sit at my desk, I made this for the DT call over at The Paper Shelter. I love their images and will be buying lots more as this little lady was a dream to colour. I seem to have a thing about colouring hair, so it made sense to use Rapunzel.

A sparkly mermaid...

Hi everyone, well I have had one hell of a day, I was putting Maya into her buggy yesterday after collecting Alex from nursery and I felt something 'ping' in my lower back. Well do you think I could move this morning? eh noooo, I can sit for periods of time, but I cant stand for long and I have pain travelling down both my legs. I have problems with all my joints due to having hypermobility syndrome, which was diagnosed when I was 19, 18 montths into my nursing course!, had to give that up and Ive never really had any major problems, except when pregnant and last year when I dislocated my knee. So I am feeling pretty fed up and hope it wont last too long.
