Moving Along with the Times: Challenge 10

This is the first time I've entered this challenge and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. The card had to include lots of flowers, as well as follow the sketch.

I have used:
Lasting Impressions Flutter Collection pack (from Dobbies)- spotty & blue paper
Sugar Nellie Bumble Bee Gorjuss Girl (from Funky Kits), coloured with Dovecraft pens
Papermania flowers
XCut mini Retro flower punch
Sentiment from Daisy & Dandelion Christmas range
Papermania adhesive gems (stars)
Stickles Stardust glue to complete

Sketch & Stash Challenge 17

This is my mother-in-law's birthday card. Really enjoyed doing this sketch.

New to me: Clare Curd papers (from my friend, Clare - thanks x )
Neglected: Sizzix Wedding Flowers die
New: Adhesive pearls from Papermill and Maggie with Flowers, from Funky Kits

Now all I need to do is work out how to actually link it to the appropriate site!!

Bumble Bee Gorjuss

Not sure that the colour combo has been quite as effective as I'd anticipated but still reasonably happy with it. Layout based on the Clare Curd 'A Sketch in Time' challenge last week, with a few alterations. Some dots and dashes were added to the flowers on the backing paper (given to me by my friend, Clare - thanks, flower!). Gorjuss coloured with Whispers Vintage marker and brush - love this colour - think you'll be seeing much more of it!!

Welcome

Welcome, everybody to my brand new blog. I've finally bitten the bullet and set up a blog - thanks Clare for recommending this site. It's early days yet, so please bear with me while I learn what to do, what is possible and how to develop it further!
