I have had this image for a while and not realised that she has a bird sitting on her head.  For some reason, today I noticed the beak!

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  The image is from Rick St Dennis and is coloured with copic markers.  The sentiment is from Bird's Cards.  I added a pre-made flower embellishment as well as some clear and some pink gemstones.

Warm Winter Wishes

It seems weird creating winter cards when it is hot and muggy here!  I realise that the other side of the world is in the depths of winter so it won't seem weird to them at all!

I have used a paper from a paper pad by Rosie's Studio.  The image is from Delicious Doodles and has been coloured with a combination of copic markers and Kindy Glitz.  The sentiment is from Bird's Cards and I also added some Kindy Glitz to the sentiment.  Matting is green glitter cardstock from American Crafts. 

I want to make things beautiful even if nobody cares

Aren't those words just so beautiful.  I think that is a really great philosophy.

I was inspired by the background in the sketch to create a shaving foam background for my card.  I haven't created any of those backgrounds for a while so I had fun and got messy doing it!
