Dressed Up

Time to show this card before Summer disappears altogether I've been informed it going to get colder this week probably just in time for the bank holiday.
The girls are from All Dressed Up, you actually get three but I used the other girl separaretly already.
The papers are most probably Echo Park and seem appropriate for this card not too sure on the flowers but they are best of the bunch that I tried. Not too many embellishments especially as the girls are on the large size so the cutting out isn't too much of a headache.

Dressed Up Wedding

I'm not sure this actually got to the Bride and Groom, I gave it to my Hubby who in turn gave it to nephew, brother of the groom.
But this is what it looks like, I'm still going for my almost CAS card and trying different images since I've used my favourites several times.
This couple is from All Dressed Up and had to layer her dress. Then I used the Spellbinders curved borders it does make a clean card more interesting.
The little hearts are from Simon Says Stamps and so is the large sentiment, finished with a La La Land corner because it was bothering me.
Blasted Mr Virgin had an issue yesterday like he wasn't working. it came back, off and on for the rest of the day and soooooo slow but fingers crossed he seems Ok this morning. I really need to finish a card today its been sitting on my desk for a couple days.

All Dressed Up

Once I found out that I could use the All Dressed Up girl separately I brought a couple. This little sweetie came with the Summer Girls. I had to used her I simply love her hat.
A very simple layout mainly because I love that paper in the middle and wasn't keen to cover it up. Just a few retro flowers with the large one have a snowflake punched centre.
And of course I had use my favourite crochet border from MFT for round the image mat and not forgetting a bit of ribbon.
Not much happening at the moment but its the calm before the storm. One job that must be done this weekend is to attempt to sort out the spare room cos MIL is coming down soon and it the last room in the house to be sorted after all the dust from the builders. Its a two man job with Hubby doing the shifting and myself supervising.

All Dressed up

This is the other All Dressed Up Freebie which I have had on my PC for a while probably those skinny legs scared me away. I still feel maybe the image is a bit large but I don't think I can cut out the arms and legs if they were any thinner.
The pretty papers I think are Simple Stories and again difficult to cover cos its so pretty. So I added a fence and the regular bit of ribbon. The MFT crochet border to decorate round the mat and my lost La La Land corners which I have already said I've now lost.
Definitely need to get some more images.

Oh dear no card making today off out for a day shopping, I have a list of holiday clothes to buy and a visit to IKEA to get ideas for my craftroom. Time is slipping away but the walls have been painted since we didn't have the gloss paint for skirting and door frames but thats been brought now. Must have been a long time since we done any painting the prices were scary at least the emulsion was some we already had in the shed.
