Vintage Car

Our challenge for this month's stamping group was to make a masculine card. I've had this Spellbinder Classic Car Etched die set and had not made it up yet, so it was fun to put together. There are quite a few tiny pieces, but I was able to get there in the end.

The background is layered cardstock, with the top most layer being die cut with Stampin' Up's retired Dots and Spots die...so fun to use!

The sentiment is from Stamp Simply's All Occasions Sentiments Set Two, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut with Spellbinder circle dies.

Perfect for the fellow or gal who love a vintage ride!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Mother Goose

Welcome! I'm part of a fun Instagram hop today...My Favorite Hop...and the challenge is to take inspiration from a nursery rhyme.

I recently purchased this sweet The Greetery Silly Goose die set and was happy to use it for this shaped card.

I began by die cutting the goose and floral pieces, then colored them with Copic Sketch markers. They are mounted on a Echo Park Dots and Stripes Gingham decorator paper panel, die cut with a retired Spellbinder oval die.

The gingham panel was mounted on a card base, cut with a larger Spellbinder Oval die to make a shaped card.

A May Art's Bakers Twine bow finishes the design. Fun!

Check out the My Favorite Hop HERE. This will direct you to my page where there is a list of people hopping on the post.

Jesus

Back again today: this time with a card that I've made up for the Friends in Faith Instagram hop. This week's inspiration is Jesus, Light of the World.

My card is quite simple...I die cut a Simon Says Stamp Radiant Burst Wafer Die from a piece of pure white cardstock. I blended three different Ranger Distress Ink colors on the white base card. The die cut is simply glued to the top allowing the colors to peek through.

The JESUS sentiment is from Stamp Simply's Jesus clear stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

If you have a chance, check out the Friends in Faith IG hop to gain tons of inspiration! It posts 5 PM on Friday afternoons.

Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

America the Beautiful

Hello! Here with a patriotic card today using two Stamp Simply stamp sets, along with a matching flag die: Stamp Simply Patriotic Sentiments (on sale now!!!) along with Stamp Simply's Red White and Blue clear stamp and die sets.

I began by stamping the flag from the Red White and Blue stamp set and coloring it with Copic sketch markers before die cutting it with the Red White and Blue Flag die. I then mounted it on a black cardbase.

Next up--cutting a window in a piece of Craft Consortium Beach Hut decorator paper using a Spellbinder Square die. I stamped a sentiment from the Patriotic Sentiments below the window directly onto the decorator paper, embossing it with black embossing powder.

I then stamped an additional sentiment from the Patriotic Sentiments set onto vellum, also heat embossing it with black emboss powder.

The vellum was mounted between the top panel window and the flag die cut.

A couple of black brads finish the design.

All linked product is from Stamp Simply.

As mentioned before, the Patriotic Sentiments set is one of two sets featured as Product of the Week over at Stamp Simply. Be sure to go and check them out!

Baby Onesie

Hello! I have a sweet little baby onesie for you today...all made with Stamp Simply's Welcome Baby Basics die set. I love this for a quick baby card...just pick out your papers then die cut the pieces. FABulous!

The paper used here is Echo Park's It's a Girl designer paper. The soft colors in this pad are just beautiful. I've used it numerous times and will be sad once it's used up. Love it!

The onesie was die cut in a single layer and mounted on a Spellbinder Classic Oval and Classic Oval Scalloped die panel.

The bib was die cut with two additional cardstock pieces, as was the baby sentiment. Then all three layers of each piece were glued together to add extra dimension.

Round the corners on the card base and you're done!

All linked supplies are from Stamp Simply.

Have a great week!

Lilac Wishing You the Best

Welcome! I have a pretty lilac card for you today. I had created this card for my recent local stamping event...it was for the make and take portion of the day.

The beautiful lilac die is The Greetery's BotaniCut Lilac. It was die cut from two different purple color cardstocks, then was blended with a bit of Tim Holtz Ranger Distress oxide ink. The leaves were also blended with a bit of ink. I used a purple Copic Sketch marker to add little dots to the centers of the blossoms.

The background texture comes from a Stampin' Up Square Lattice embossing folder (retired).

Fun card to make as well as easy to mail.

Hope that your weekend is filled with springtime sunshine!
