Elfy Christmas

Morning guys !!

It's wonderful when you start looking for one thing in your crafty stash and find hundreds of other things you had forgotten you had !!

My Elfy Christmas stamps by Lindsay Mason being one of those finds !!

I coloured a white bit of card to match my backing papers with distress inks then stamped the trees and added torn strips of white card for the snow banks adding glitter to them. Stamped, coloured and fussy cut out the elves and mounted them with 3d foam tape. Topped it all off with some bobble trim, snowflakes and big white ribbon bow which I crinkled using a heat gun.

Northern lights

Been having a play with the northern lights technique peeps.

Started with an A4 sheet of white card and coloured it with streaks of different distress ink colours blending them as best I could. Then cut it into four.

Then tore a strip of white paper with a curvy wave and used it to make the ground line in black ink.

Then stamped a mixture of images in black to create the scenes.

Finishing off with white dots for stars and darkening round the edges. I'm quite pleased with the end results !!

One for the guys !!

Morning peeps !!

If you have popped over from the Fiskarettes UK fb page then welcome to my blog !!

Here's a fun pop up panel card for any guy in your life !!

Now I hope you have a cuppa as this post is photo loaded !!

You will need to cut and score one piece of card 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" ( this is your card base )
and another  piece of 2 3/4" x 11" , score at 2 3/4"--5 1/2"--8 1/4"

On a piece of  8 1/2" x 11" card draw a line at 5 1/2" down centre. Mark both sides of this at 4 1/4". Now draw a lines across at 2 1/8"--4 1/4"--6 3/8" as in photo.

On the 2 1/8" and 3 3/8" lines mark in at both ends 4", then draw a line up to 4 1/4" marks at top and bottom to make tab shapes.

Cut out all four corner sections as in photo.
Now fold and crease card in half both ways

Turn card round so tab shapes are on your left and right sides. Take centre crease line on right hand side down to meet and line up with centre line and crease diagonally.

 Repeat on other side
