National Dessert Day is Celebrated on October 14th, 2013.  Dessert is usually a sweet course that ends a meal. There is a wide variety of desserts that include cakes,cookies, biscuits, gelatin, pastries, ice cream, pieces, puddings and candy. 
Many cultures have their own variations of desserts around the world, adding elements such as honey and jam to make them even more popular.  So this week, you can have your cake, and eat it too!
