The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #154 - E is for Evil
Yes, it's time to get profoundly immoral and wicked with the sistahs.
I wasn't sure which way to go with this theme and nearly made a very early Halloween card; then I found a fun meme and my thoughts turned to kitties!
I just can't resist using this little MFT cat as there is just something about that cute, cute face. The background is a favourite Newton's Nook Stencil called Tumbling Hearts. My husband received this card on Valentine's Day - from our cat.
Seems a pity not to share this over at Show Us Your Pussycats, so here goes!
Over at The Sisterhood, our fabulous queen and my dear sisters, have created some fabulous cards, so please come and take a look and join the evil fun!

Monkey See, Monkey Do... With No Monkeys.
I'm keeping to my promise to try and play along in The Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda Challenges by joining Challenge #93. This one has an intriguing title, but it turns out that what they want is a monkey and/or repeat stamping on your project.
I don't seem to be big on monkeys in my stash, so scrapped that idea and focused on repeat stamping instead. The cheeky ladies are from VLVS and the sentiment is from Art Impressions. The dots are from a Hero Arts stamp and the cups are from Lawn Fawn, despite being in a Jane's Doodles wrapper! I'll be putting that right in a very few minutes.
I'm not 100% happy with this card as it's just not 'arty' enough. I really enjoy this style of image, but am waaaaaay outta my comfort zone when it comes to using it. For anyone who is less artistically challenged with this style, Lost Coast currently have a DT call open until 29th February.

They have some fabulous images, and their sentiments are hilarious and ever so slightly snarky!
Have a happy day, crafters!

It's Mid-Month Reminder Time at Christmas Kickstart
Hi there, if you've not yet found time to play along at this month's Christmas Kickstart Challenge do not despair!
The current theme is RED and while the gallery is filling up nicely, there's still 15 days left to join the fun as the challenge doesn't close until 2nd March.
I couldn't resist creating a quick and simple card with this adorable kitty from a Simon Says Stamp set called Meowy Christmas.
Whenever I use red on a Christmas card I usually pair it with blue or with green, but this time I went with Antique Linen and kraft, and I'm liking the cosy colour combo very much.
I'm also linking this card to Show Us Your Pussycats #50 (Furrything Goes) and ABC Christmas Challenge as their current theme is C is for Cats and D is for Dogs.
There's also a feline feel to things over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers right now, as our current theme is C is for Cats.

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #153 - C is for Cats
You have to hand it to Sister Lee, she really is the queen of hilarious graphics!
I had way too much fun with this challenge and created a snarky card for my friend Rob's 55th birthday. Thankfully he liked it and we're still on speaking terms!
The cutie is from Technique Junkies and is called Kitty Watching.
I'm also linking this card to a 'new to me' challenge called Show us Your Pussycats Challenges. The theme for Challenge #51 is Furrything Goes. I think this could be the first of many visits to this challenge as I've just signed-up as their newest Follower!
Anyhoo, back to The Sisterhood; you'll love the cards created by the sisters and by our very special guest designer too, so why not come and join the feline fun!

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #28 - Red
It's time for a new challenge over at Christmas Kickstart and the theme is linked to this month of romance as it's RED!
Anything red on your Christmas themed card will work just great, so it's Santas, hearts, holly berries, robins, Rudolph and his red nose etc etc etc.
For this month I'm joined by yet another very talented cardmaker: it's Samantha from Coykoi Crafting.
You'll love her super-stylish take on the theme.
Back in the 1980's when I was at college, myself and my then boyfriend bought a rather battered, old red mini. Driving Home for Christmas by Chris Rea always seemed to be on the radio at that time, and so the idea for this card popped into my head.
I really love this little car, and all of the images in the set So Mini Hellos from The Stamp Market.
Creating this little card has really transported me back in time and made me want to reach out with a special message for my former beau: 'You were a lousy boyfriend AND you still owe me £250 for the car!' True story.
My second card features a gorgeous stencil and an adorable fox from Funky Fossil. Funky Fossil have a brand new release just out - I had to buy the owl set as it's just adorable!
