Frosty Friends - combos

From the moment I saw this stamp set (Frosty Friends) I knew it would be so versatile!  For this card I used only 2 of the snowpeople and cut out around them and ripped the snowy hills.  First I stamped my Evergreen stamp (also very versatile and great for pairing with other sets!)

 

The layout is from Retrosketches. 

The colors are from Dynamic Duos - more mustard and so saffron.

 

I love ripping the paper and adding glitter to make it look snowy!

New Queen... QFTD136

 

This card was inspired by our Queen this week.  Come play along with the Queen for the Day Challenge on Splitcoast.

 

First I stamped the background wheel with crumb cake ink on the same color paper.  I stamped one tree with versamark and embossed white.  I stamped two trees with soft suede and I inked all the edges.

The sentiment (from Beautiful Season) and Four Frames is punched out and popped up and accented with pearls.

Merry Snowmen - PPA layout

 

I need to make a lot of Christmas cards!!

I love this snowman image, I just used part of it (I also didn't use the reindeer horns).

 

This great layout is from Pals Paper Arts.

 

I used the top note for a little piece under the red layer.  I used twine and some rhinestones, a bit of coloring and distressing.

The patterned paper is from the new paper pack.  The colors are cherry cobbler, old olive, black and vanilla.

Last two with mom

Mom and I made our last 2 cards together before they went home today.  We had lots of fun together!
We each picked a layout and made a card.

The top card is the one she made.  She used a layout from Clean & Simple Stamping blog.

New Queen... QFTD135

 

My first time using this new Snowman stamp (Frosty Friends).  I colored the watercolor paper with watercolor crayons and blended with aqua painter.  I stamped the snowmen on white paper and cut all of them out (and snowballs).  The patterned paper is the new Festival of Prints Designer paper stack.

I also added some glitter on the snow.

2 cards for the color challenge today and the sketch at CASE(E) this Sketch!  A new blog I found.

 

I used butterflies and the apothecary accents framelit (embossed).

 

My mom used circles and a flower.  We both used the same lace ribbon because it matched so well!
