Taylored Expressions: For Him

We recently celebrated all the women in our lives and now it’s time for the guys! (But of course, these also work swimmingly for the women too! 🀭). You can check out all the new For HIm fun over at Taylored Expressions today!

Fore! This first card is made with the new Par for the Course Cutting Plate Die Set and the new Par for the Course Layering Stencil. They are way easy to use and you get to design your own course! I can’t wait to make our son a golf card. πŸ€—

All the little flags and the trees– too cute! I actually used the TE Embossing Pad vs die cutting this to give it that raised look. It’s a little hard to decipher in the photos, but in person I thought it was fun for a golf course vs. just die cutting it out.

I love a slow weekend day watching golf on TV and taking a nap. Granted, I feel like I haven’t enjoyed that in years, but someday, I’ll circle back. 🀭

But wait, there’s more! The new Golf Bag Die Set didn’t want to be left out–so included this little bonus on the inside–always fun little perk to take things inward.

Next up, let’s get to grilling! First off, the new Grill & Chill Background Stamp, embossed tone on tone with clear embossing powderΒ (I always love these little doodle backgrounds!), new Apron Strings and the Hot Off The Grill Die Set.

The little apron words are from the new Grill Master Stamp Set–which I thought was perfect with the flames–lol!

The utensils are cut from Silver Foil cardstock and tuck perfectly in the apron pocket.

Super fun card to give! It’s hot!

Be sure to check out the Taylored Expressions website for all the details πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: Let’s Jam!!

It’s the last Tuesday of the month and that means there is a new cardmaking kit over at Taylored Expressions today! It’s a super fun one that you can be sweet on too: Let’s Jam!. πŸ˜‰ Be sure to check it all out on the TE Website.

Each month, I generally try to use mostly just the kit each month to create (while adding in a few basics). This month, I was jammin’ to a different beat. πŸ˜‚

I am fan of this sweet Let’s Jam Kit! So cute!

I decided right away that these jars needed eyes and appendages from the C’mon Get Happy set.

I mean, how could I not–look how happy they are! 🀭

Eeep! The one little peach jam got his arm stuck behind the strawberry jam, but he’ll try harder in the group photo next time. 🀣

I figured they needed tags too, with the cute little lids of gingham. Do we call these little skirts? Doilies? Any which way, they are adorable!

Next up, all I could think was Peanut Butter and Jelly!!  So I put those in jars and on the Toast to My Jam (available outside the kit). The Critter Crew Bee just flew into the scene. 🀭

We Bee-long Together–like PB&J! So cute! πŸ™‚

I love this sweet kit by Heather and can’t wait to Jam some more!

Be sure to check out the Taylored Expressions website for all the details πŸ™‚

Taylored Expressions: Cards of Comfort

Taylored Expressions –has a new release today -Cards of Comfort. Cards that we all make and need to send to family and friends when they need a paper hug the most. Be sure to check it all out on the TE Website.

I’m excited this Mini Meadow Embossing Folder is now out for all to enjoy! It’s such a sweet little flower embossing folder. I believe it was previously released exclusive for Combo Club last year, so check your library.

My favorite way to use this Mini Meadow EF is on white. Garden Variety is always a great set to reach for, and worked perfectly here.

Next up, this is the new Pawprints On Your Heart Die Set.🐾

The sentiment is from the new Faithful Friend Stamp Set. (with coordinating dies). This set is a sweet one to have for these occasions for losing a faithful friend and for sending sympathy cards. While none of us want to have to send them, they are probably one of the most needed to receive. 🀍

Here’s the scoop from Taylored Expressions:

Some cards are harder to make than othersβ€”but they’re often the ones that mean the most. Taylored Expressions’ new Cards of Comfortrelease was thoughtfully created to help you navigate those more tender moments with care. From heartfelt sentiments to peaceful florals, gentle textures, and meaningful imagery, this collection is designed to help you express support, sympathy, and love when words don’t come easily.
This release also includes a special focus on pet sympathy, with products that honor the deep connection we share with our furry companions. It’s a beautiful way to create something truly personal for friends and loved ones experiencing that unique kind of loss.

To make creating even easier, Taylored Expressions is offering a FREE Sympathy Palette Playbook with any purchase from the release (available 4/21 at 9 AM CT through 4/28 at 9 AM CT). This thoughtfully curated guide takes the guesswork out of color, helping you choose soft, comforting combinations that work beautifully for sympathy cards.

You can explore the full Cards of Comfortcollection and start creating something meaningful HERE.

Taylored Expressions –has a new release today for Throwback Thursday! This release ties in perfectly to the For Her release recently, because you can expand on those goodies you might already have! Love that 😊!Β  Be sure to check it all out on the TE Website!

This poppyΒ  from the Flower Garden Layering Stencil is definitely one of my favorite.Β  The backgrounds were made with the Hexagon Piercing Plate and the Fanfare Cutting Plate Die.

The sweet sentiment is from the new Seeds & Such – Flowers Clear Stamp (and the Seeds & Such – Flowers die set).

I love these new additions to stretch the seed packets even further. I look forward to making more!

(Some of these were in the formerly only released in the Seeds & Such Cardmaking Kit. And now, the background stamp and die are available individually.)

Taylored Expressions: For Her

Taylored Expressions –has a new release today For Her! This is the release to celebrate all the women in your life. Be sure toΒ check it all out on the TE Website!

There are a lot of fun new items in this release for other interests and hobbies. Even if you want to make a card for anyone who doesn’t sew, the sentiments are so sweet for everyone!

These coordinate with the formerly only released in the Seeds & Such Cardmaking Kit. And now, the background stamp and die are available individually.

This is the Little Bits-Needle & ThreadΒ  (needles die cut out with the TE Rose Gold Metallic Cardstock) along with the sentiments from a fast favorite line Bitty Strips-Sew Essential.

I used one of the Gift Card Wallet‘s little die to cut the notch for the needle. It was perfect to keep them neat and tidy. You can also do this with an X-acto knife, but the die was a controlled cut. πŸ˜‰ And I love the new background stamps: Cross Stitch 6×6 Background Stamp and Micro Dot Background Stamp.

Next up, we have this sweet little ditty with the new Classic Embroidery Hoop Die and a throwback being brought back, a bit differently: The Archive Collection – Stitch by Stitch Stamp Set.

Again, the needles is from the Little Bits-Needle & Thread. I used the previously released Embossing Folder – Cross Stitch for the background with the A2 Large Scallop Stacklets.

I layered on an ombre of inks to stamp the heart, going from lightest to darkest. I just dab on some ink to the stamp and hope for the best. It usually works out and then you can go back and add a bit darker ink around the edges, etc. If you haven’t tried it, I recommend tinkering with it. πŸ™‚

I love the newΒ  Classic Embroidery Hoop Die and look forward to using that one more too!
