Sketches in Thyme # 135

It's time!!  Time for another month of dual sketches to play with at Sketches in Thyme. Here is my take on the FIRST sketch of the month.  Entries need to be linked up by December 31st.  Another sketch will be revealed on the 15th.  There is a prize to be won. SIT 135 - Go Here This is a fun layout I did for my daughter's first concert this last summer.  Your typical boy band group.  Oh the screams.  Another Mom and I braved this concert with the girls and I have to admit had a ton of fun  We have a few more scheduled this next year.  Oh help me.  :)

Hey friends!!  So I have been working on a custom order for a friend and am so close to finishing... so I took some time out for myself (finally) and created this layout!!  So excited to get these things scrapped.

Create a layout based on a TV Game Show!!

WIPEOUT!!  This is actually my son's favorite TV Game show.  And how appropriate since this is all about him.  Unfortunately his summer didn't end real well when he broke his wrist after falling while riding his Ripstick in July.  It was his favorite birthday present and well it proved to not be his friend.  He hasn't ridden it since.  He plays other sports, so being cautious.  Will be getting him all kinds of protective gear soon!  

I was also inspired by the November challenge over at 123 Get Scrappy!!

LMCB 212 Anything Goes... along with Frosted Designs Friday Challenge

Hello!!  I have a quick post for you.  There is a FUN and EASY challenge over at Lasting Memories that just started today... "ANYTHING GOES."  LMCB 212 Well what are you waiting for?  That is the easiest thing there is.  :) Here is my take...

I dug into some older photos for this one.  Our kiddos are not that super excited to do the pumpkin patch thing anymore.  Sad really.  We will still possibly go... but until then I need to relive these moments.  This was our son's first field trip with his pre-school.  Oh how time flies.  

I'm also entering this into the latest Frosted Designs Friday Challenge...

use FALL COLORS, INK and BLING

The Fall colors are obvious.  Besides my journaling, I inked the edges of the punched out pumpkins in the bottom right corner to emphasize that they are indeed pumpkins.  The tractor is also stamped and colored.  My bling is my sparkling lonely GREEN brad holding the corner edge folded up.  :)
