One Cool Babe - Slinky Tart

I know it's July and it's probably very hot where you are (it is here), so I thought I would cool things down with this fabulous image called Snowman CPR.

I printed her out and colored her with my copics. I cut her out using a Spellbinders Oval die and added some snowflakes punched with a Martha Stewart border punch. Of course, I added a little bling to the centers and also along the edges of my card. Just a note - the cardstock actually matches the copic colors much better in real life. I'm not sure if when I edited the picture the colors became a bit darker.

Please be sure to visit the Slinky Tart Blog for more inspiration from the other talented DT members or check out the Facebook Group and join me again in two weeks for another inspiration piece.

Very Merry - The Stamping Chef Challenge #61

It's Christmas Eve! Are you as excited as I am? Today is the last challenge of the year for The Stamping Chef and it's also the last month FOR The Stamping Chef as Tamara has decided to close up shop and start fresh in the new year with a new brand (details to follow so stay tuned).

Anyway, for my last card, I used Alyce. I printed her and colored her with my copics. I used the clear Wink of Stella pen on her wings after I colored to add some glitter.

I made the poinsettias using a Spellbinders die and edged the petals with some stickles.

As usual, the challenge is Anything Goes so feel free to use any digital image you like but you get bonus entries if you use an image from The Stamping Chef. All the rules are on the blog.

I hope you'll join us and in the meantime - MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Sugar Pea Designs - Thanks Snow Much

It's time for the last challenge of 2014 at Sugar Pea Designs and the theme is ...

I decided to make a quick an easy thank you card, perfect to mass produce and send once the Christmas festivities have calmed down and you want to send a special note for a thoughtful gift given over the holidays.

I used the snowflakes from Merry Christmoose and Have an Ice Day to random stamp a background using white pigment ink and then went over it with some Perfect Pearls in white to give it a shimmery effect. I added a pearl to the center of each snowflake using a pearl pen. I stamped the sentiment from Have an Ice Day onto the die cut from the Gift Tag Die set and then used dimensionals to attach it to my card.

Okay, now it's your turn. You can play along with any stamp you like - but if you use Sugar Pea Designs, we'll bump your voucher up to $15. You can combine our challenge with any other challenge(s). Upload to your blog or any other gallery using keyword SPD11so that we can leave you some love and then be sure add your link to the linky on the Sugar Pea Blog.

Digi Choosday - Last Minute Christmas

It's our final challenge for 2014 at Digi Choosday and the theme is Last Minute Christmas Gifts.

For my project I made a bottle tag and a little gift bag using paper, sentiments and the bow from the Festive Hollybobs Collection and from the pre-colored Winston Bear Celebrate from the Winston Deluxe Full Collection. This image is also available uncolored seperately HERE.

I printed several three of the bear images and cut out different parts of the bear and added some dimensional foam. I also added some glitter to their champagne glasses and to her pearls. On the gift bag, I added some stickles along the edges for added sparkle. You'll notice the bow was printed in two different sizes and then cut out and I added an added an adhesive-backed gem to the center for some holiday sparkle.

Be sure to check out the Digi Choosday Blog for more great ideas from the DT Team and to leave a link to your project for your chance at winning. We'll be back in the New Year with more great projects for you.

Entered in the following Challenges:
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes
Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes
Tuesday Throwdown - Christmas
Creative Colors - Vintage Green,  Deep Red, White and Glitter
