I made a cute little 4.25" square card which could easily be used as a tag. I stamped and then colored the image with my copics and then cut it out using one of the Labels 18 dies. I used the black Wink of Stella glitter pen to outline the butterfly and the clear pen on the flowers. I then added a couple of gems to the body and a pearl to the center of one of the flowers.

The background paper is from the Countryside Evening paper collection and I cut it using one of the Marvelous Squares dies. I added a couple of pearl flourishes behind my popped up image for a finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment here and on the other designers' blogs in order to be eligible for the $25 Heartfelt Creations gift certificate. Once again, you have until midnight Friday, November 1, 2013. You're next stop is Emilia's Blog. You're going to love what she created!

Heartfelt Creations - Best Wishes

Today I want to share my card for Heartfelt Creations using their fabulous new Old English Garden Collection.

I used one of the swirl stamps from the Tattered Blossom Swirls stamp set to create the background.  I colored the flowers with copic markers and then stamped over the whole panel with the crackle stamp from Broken Cinder Blocks using Tea Dye ink. I used that same ink to sponge along the edges.

The card is very feminine and to continue along those lines, I added a little lace trim to bottom edge of my panel before mounting it my card base.

You can find the full instructions on how to make this card on the Heartfelt Creations Blog.  You will also see all the other gorgeous projects from the Design Team for inspiration.

CFC#38 - Breakfast at Tiffany's

I saw this week's challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays and an idea instantly popped into my head.  The challenge is to draw our inspiration from the movies.  I am a huge Audrey Hepburn fan and one of my favorites is of course Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Every girl knows what a Tiffany's box looks like, right?  Well I was lucky enough to see one in person when my husband bought me a beautiful bracelet for our first anniversary.  I kept the box because it might be the only one I ever get (so far this is the case - lol).  Anyway, I dug it out and what do you know?  PTI's Hawaiian Shores cardstock is the perfect match.

Products Used:
Paper - PTI SS White, Hawaiian Shores
Ink - Versafine Black Onyx
Ribbon, Swiss Dots EF, Vellum
