Good morning everyone! Thought I could slip this post in before we head out to appointments. I had fun making this card....not sure who will be the recipient yet!
This is a fun image from Bugaboo Stamps, where you'll find lots of chuckles! It was nice and easy to colour and the sentiment was included.
For the layout, I've gone with Kylie's sketch at the Pink {Ink} Sketch Challenge, though you'll see I switched it about.
The DP is from Basic Grey, and I've paired it up with red and green cardstock. You will also see that I've doodled with some gold pen and stamped a few snowflakes with gold paint.
Stickles were added to the flower and the ornaments, while glamour dust adds some sparkle to the white on her hat.
The image is cut out with my Labels 18 Nestie die, while an MS punch adds some interest to the vertical panel behind the image.
Hope you can have some crafty fun today too!

Little Critter Christmas
Hi there everyone.....hope you are having a delightful day! The weather is a changing, but this is the type of weather I enjoy......comfortable! Now, of course I should be working, but then again.....
For the layout, I've followed along with the sketch challenge at A Gem of a Challenge, using an embossed card blank and adding another embossed panel for the contrast. Both have been brayered using DI, and some silver peel-offs provide the edging and the bit of embellishment on the corner piece.
Just a few gems and pearls and a bit of floral trim....and I'm done.
Hope you enjoyed my card...until next time, have a great day!
A few fun challenges...be sure to check them out!
Because my time is somewhat limited these days, I'm trying to make up some cards with images that I've coloured previously. (they've been waiting patiently!) This little cutie is from Pink Gem Designs, and it is called Reindeer and Robin. It has a nice young theme, and I've worked it up in soft non-traditional colours, using Prisma pencils and OMS.

What Little Boys are Made of....
Good morning everyone! Today's challenge at Charisma Cardz calls for a Birthday card, along with a giftbag or box. I've fussied up a brown paper lunch bag, which I'll fill with goodies for the Birthday Boy....to get him in a party mood. (lol). As my grandson will only be four, I kept it simple with no embellishments that could fall off and be mistaken for candy!
I've played with a Whipper Snapper stamp, called Eli and Frogger. I've had this stamp for ages, but never got around to inking it up. It worked great for this nice quick CAS card, and I simply scanned it and printed it out with some wording and a digi image from Meljen's Designs, called Diggin a Hole.
This week's challenge is sponsored by:
So remember, you can use any stamped or digi images in your projects, for your chance at some yummy prizes. First though, be sure to head on over and check out the rest of the DT projects for some wonderful inspiration, here.
Have a wonderful crafty day!

Thinking of You
Hello again. How about a nice simple card today....you will notice there is no colouring! This is actually a sympathy card, something I don't make too often, but I am pleased with the result. I think the pink is very uplifting and goes well with the black and silver. I've had it made for a while now, and thankfully I haven't had to use it!
Just a simple stamp (from Inkadinkado), on which I used silver paint on black cardstock. I've used a rounded corner punch on both the image and the silver metallic backing, and a MS border punch for the pink DP. A black rub-on provided some additional interest, while the pink flower edging provides a bit of a soft touch. Nice and easy with a bit of elegance.

The First Snowbird?
Well, I've finally finished this card! Life has been good the last couple of days, and that basically means that time has flown by. My husband starts his second cycle of treatments tomorrow, so soon it will be a different story....but maybe this time it will be easier. At least we know what to expect and how to deal with it now...hopefully.
My card today portends the end of summer, when the Canadian snowbirds (retirees) head south to warmer climates to avoid the dreaded cold! That's my take on this fun image from Just Inklined anyway, and you can find it here. It won't be long now until the migration...lol.
I've used a couple of Stampendous stamps on the backgrounds. The Marble Texture Cube to create the crackle effect, and the Foliate Quad Cube for the leaves. I've coloured the image with Promarkers and Copics, depending on what colours I had, (I think I need to go shopping again!) adding some shading with my Prisma pencils. He was a fun old guy to colour up...
Hopefully this week I will have some time to craft, and maybe even a chance to visit your blogs. Thanks kindly for all your nice comments.....and have yourselves a great day!

A Ticket to Ride
Hi there everyone. It's been a while, but I've finally found some time to finish a card. These days, time either goes way too fast, or way too slow...with not much time for crafting.
I had to smile when I saw this image, as it brings someone to mind. Not that I could ever give him this card....as his sense of humour is not what it could be. This is another of the fun images from Just Inklined, called Harold Hurry. He seems to be enjoying his nice spiffy wheels, along with the nice fall weather.
I've basically raided my scraps to make this one up, adding some eyelets and buttons for a little extra detail. I've gone with an old Beatles song for this one.....She's Got 'A Ticket to Ride'......which in some cases may be preferable to a driver's license......
I've been working on the mate to this image, and hopefully, should have it done up in a few more days.
Everyone take care....and have a wonderful day.
