I've set this post up to go, while I'm away on holiday for a few weeks. Hopefully no glitches, though I still hope to stay in touch with my iPad.
Here I have another DT card for Just Inklined, using one of the many wonderful images from The Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD ROM.
Coloured with copics, with some gold metallic and green metallic pens for accents, the image steals the show. Nice clean and simple design, with just a ribbon bow and some gold peel-off trimmings.
Please take care and stay safe, and I will try to do the same!

Fall Colours
Good morning everyone! I thought I would post one more card before I leave on my holiday, though I do have some scheduled for while I'm away. Then, it's back to packing and getting ready...trying to remember everything that needs to be done!
Here, I've played with a Bugaboo image, some paper from Basic Grey, and a stencil to make that numbered background. Some pretty ribbon and some metal eyelets for embellishment completes the card. The colours all work great for my little grandson's fall birthday.

Christmas...or Birthday....
Sometimes an image can be used for more than one purpose, and my card today is an example.
This is one of the new images from Just Inklined, and I do believe it was meant to be for Christmas. I chose to use it for a birthday card instead, and went with a vintage/shabby chic style. I've used my copics and coloured pencils, adding some glossy accents to their bright red bows. I made good use of my newest die purchase for the framing, with a bit of added glitter pen and a few pearls.
Supplies used:
Just Inklined image - Goose and Ganda
Verve sentiment stamp - Birthday Surprise set
Verve sentiment stamp - Birthday Surprise set
Papers from Basic Grey - Clippings collection
Martha Stewart Punch - Eyelet Lace
Spellbinders dies - Marvelous Squares & Labels Twenty
Thanks so much for visiting, and let's hope we all have a wonderful weekend!

Pretty in Pink
Good morning all. Today's a new challenge at Charisma and a nice easy one it is too! The theme this week....Your Favourite Colour Combo.
I needed a card for a wedding shower and this sweet image from Stamp Fairy was just the ticket.
I played with a pink/purple colour combo, with just a touch of turquoise. Nice feminine colours seemed best suited to the occasion. After colouring with my copies, I added some flowers to the umbrella, after all we don't want a rainy day!
For the sentiment, I've used a Whimsy stamp and die....adding an embossed layer of polka dots, and then a computer generated wording.
Supplies used:
Paper from Wild Rose Studio - Spring Fling
Martha Stewart punch - Edge Doily Lace
Other - ribbon bow & gem from my stash
Once again we have some wonderful sponsors:
We really look forward to seeing your creations, and hope you get some time to join in again this week. Thanks for stopping by, and hope you have a wonderful day.

Christmas time's a coming...
Good morning everyone. Another weekend has come around, and it looks like we are in for a couple of sunny days. Cooler, but that's good too.
Here, I have a Christmas card using another one of the new images from Just Inklined. This one is titled Garden Santa. After colouring him up with my copics, and cutting him out with my Spellbinders die, I've inked the edges with DI. Hopefully this all works together to provide a nighttime theme, because of course....that is when he will be visiting! However, here in my part of the world, he won't find much to see in my garden!
The Merry Christmas sentiment, from Hero Arts, is stamped and then heat embossed with gold embossing powder. Then I've gone around it all with a fine black marker to make it stand out better.
Supplies used:
Basic Grey papers - Jovial collection
Spellbinders die - Labels Two
Simon Says die - Curvy Snowflake
Martha Stewart punches - Crown Punch and Pine Branch
Other items include stickles, flower and pearl centre from my stash.
Hoping you all have a wonderful weekend, and a chance to enjoy some of the good weather....while it lasts.

From the past....to the future..
Remember when the stories you read or told to the little ones started with 'Once upon a time'? I recall I would love to ask my Mom to tell us what it was like in the olden days....when she was a little girl. I also recall her putting a stop to that particular wording. I figure it was probably the year she turned 30.
In this day and age of computers, video games and techie gadgets, lets hope the new generation also learns to enjoy a good read. Today's card uses a Tina Wenke stamp....Hedgehog Reading, an ideal bit of encouragement for a budding bookworm.
Although we are having a heat wave at the moment, autumn will soon be upon us and I've gone with some bright fall colours. Copics again, for colouring the image, then cutting and matting with the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die. The papers are from the Basic Grey Picadilly collection, with a little DI added to the edges.
,
The sentiment, from Stämpelkällan, has been stamped, cut out then matted before adhering with foam tabs. I've kept the trimmings simple, as this will be for my littlest grandson.
Enjoy your day, and thanks for visiting.

On the road to happiness...
Here we go, it's Saturday again, and I don't have any plans or visitors so far. I thought perhaps I could get some more accomplished on my gardens, except it's raining. They're pretty much done for the year now, so I'm starting to clear them out and cut them down. That's the negative for this time of year, but truly...I love the cooler temperatures and the smell of fall in the air.
And then of course, there's always the fall weddings! My nephew is getting married in October, so I just had to make up a card with this lovely image from Just Inklined, titled Wedding Carriage. Isn't it adorable....and such fun to colour too! Copics again, and some DI for the edges and the frame, and then some flowers and a pretty bow for the special occasion.
Supplied used:
Papers from Pink Paislee - Queen Bee collection
Spellbinders dies - Labels Twelve and Marvelous Squares
Martha Stewart punch - Pine Branch
Flowers, gems and ribbon - from my stash
Have yourselves a wonderful weekend, and with a bit of luck maybe a bit of time for crafting! For myself, I guess there is no excuse now.....housework it is....

A little birdie told me....
Hang on a second while I check.....yep, it's Thursday again! Where does the time go? So, it's time for another challenge at Charisma, and this week the theme is Fancy Flourishes.
We can't hang on to summer forever, but we can still make a card to capture the feeling. Today I've used an image from Pink Cat Studio, and you'll see my stamped flourishes around the base of the tree creating a background. The sky is coloured with different chalks, and a touch of pink stickles adds a bit of sparkle.
The pretty papers are from Paper Mania, Burleigh Blue collection, while the pink die cuts add a nice bright contrast and complement the colours found on the image. Otherwise, only a couple of pearls to finish off the butterflies.
Once again, we have some wonderful sponsors and some lovely prizes for some lucky winners. Just click on the images below to check out their product.
