Dreaming...

Good morning everyone!  Looks like we are going to have a nice sunny day, however, it's still a lot cooler than one would expect for the end of April.  As a result, the grass is still struggling to turn green, and the gardens.....well, nothing to be said there yet!

So here I am again, with another card with a warm spring theme.  Sooner or later Mother Nature will come around!  This lovely image is from Just Inklined, and titled Park Entrance.  Once again, I used my copics, and I also added a scene behind the gate....adding a colourful sunset.

The burgundy paper is a left over, after I'd cut out the centre for another card.  I had used the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares die, so I used a smaller one from the set for the white mat.

I need to be sending out my thank you cards now, to all those that helped me with the snow this winter.  I truly hope that is now finished!

Thanks for stopping by, and here's hoping you are having a lovely weekend.

Surprise!....and the colour is....

Ahhhh, spring must be in the air!  Derek's been to Home Depot to purchase paint for the bathroom, in the colour of his choosing this time.  He can't wait to cover over that bright pink!  Won't Deirdre be surprised when she gets home!  You can find this fun image here, from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, along with many others for the man in your life.

A rather simple design, using some papers from MME and a bit of washi tape.  Had a bit of fun with the wording and some faux stitching.  The image is coloured with copics with a little fussy cutting before matting.

Thanks for stopping by, and hope your weekend is grand!

A Very Happy Bunny

Good morning!  It is so hard to believe that it's almost the end of April.  Although the weather is definitely better than it has been, yesterday we had a few flurries and it was cold enough to wear my winter coat!   Brrrrrrr.   The good news is, it's Thursday, and time for a new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey, and this week we are looking for your Easel Cards.

This bouncy little guy (Easter Bunny) was provided by our sponsor, and although I've made an Easter card, I do believe it would also work well for a birthday card too.  Lots of nice bright colours today, thanks to my copics, and I've paired ut up with some pretty papers from MME.

The flowers are made from a print and cut file from Fred She Said, and then I've added yellow stickles to the centres for a little bit of glam.  I've used the Creatopia Frame 2 die to partially cut out the image, and the Fleur de Lis Rectangles die for the sentiment, both of which are from Spellbinders.

Our sponsor this week, with a shop full of beautiful images is:
