Sometimes we need a card...just because...to bring a little cheer. This sweet image from Dr Dig's House of Stamps, (Cuddly Critters Rabbit) is sure to fit the bill, and so nice and easy to colour. My DT post today is short and sweet, and also late. Family circumstances have totally taken my time. Take care everyone, and enjoy the long weekend.
Challenges for my card:
The kids may be gearing up for the new school year, but I'm sure their minds are elsewhere....perhaps with the upcoming hockey season. Today I'm using the Ice Hockey Hugh image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, in this case another reason why the goalie wears a mask! Doesn't he look fierce? Have fun guys!

A start on Christmas...
Okay, it's time for a break....today was house cleaning day, after visits from grandkiddies and doggies. It's a bit too hot for heading outside, so a good time for posting a card. I made this one up last night....thought I'd best make a start on Christmas cards, before it's too late!
I played with water colours again, and a stamp from Wild Rose Studio, titled Birdhouse. I've used some liquid applique for the snow, giving it some added dimension. I much prefer this snow to the real stuff....
A fairly simple design, with just a few die cuts and some silver peel-offs. Although it doesn't show well in the photo, I have completely covered the snowflake die with glamour dust, for lots of sparkle.
I had to find my camera out for this one, though I usually use my iPad. For some reason my iPad mail is not connecting to the server. The internet is working fine. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Blue Fantasy
Good morning. It's hard to believe that summer is almost over, and the kids will soon be back at school. Where did it go? It even smells like fall, especially with all the corn in the farmers' fields around us. I have never seen it grow so high. I just hope that winter comes late, and brings us nothing like last year!
My card today uses one of the pretty images from Aurora Wings. Poppies are a favourite of mine, and wouldn't it be lovely if I could grow these in my garden? I guess I will have to make do with colouring with my copics.
I have stamped with white paint over the background paper, and smudged some more around the embossed sentiment to make it stand out more. It really is white in real life! The butterflies are also embossed with some stickles added for extra sparkle.
The Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die provides the mat for the image, and the Cheery Lynn City Girl Edger die provides the delicate edging for a very feminine card.
Hope you enjoyed your visit, and trust you have a wonderful day.

Sweetie Pie
Good morning all! Change of plans for me today. I was expecting a contractor, to do some repairs on my east deck, but it appears he won't be here until tomorrow. Instead, I plan on heading up to Peterborough to pick up my youngest grand son for a sleep-over. The summer is just flying by, and if I don't do it now...he'll be back at school. This little guy likes to craft, so I just may get into my craft room later!
First, a card, this time with an image from Digi Stamp 4 Joy, coloured with copics. Some die cuts and flowers, with some pearls and a fancy button for the flower centres. The background is simply some ink smudged over an embossed card blank, with an inked doily to match.
Enjoy your day, and thanks for visiting.
