Good morning everyone. Here's hoping you are all set for a lovely weekend. Do you notice how time flies when the weather is nice and the sun is shining, but how long the days seem in winter? Except for Christmas time, of course...
Today's card uses a stamp from LOTV, coloured with water colours with added stickles for the garland. It's then cut out and matted with the Spellbinders Marvelous Squares die set.
Some nice bright papers, a pretty flower with a button centre, and a few more die-cuts to finish it off. The Memory Box Frosty Border die creates some sparkly interest with some gold glitter paper, while the sentiment is made with an Elizabeth Craft die.
It's never too early to start on Christmas cards, right?
Thanks for stopping by.

Still on the ball....
Finally...my oldest brother turns 60 next month. It's been rather lonely, here in the sixties all by myself! Being the only girl in the family, I like to tell people that I'm his youngest sister...but that worked much better before the hip and the cane. Oh well.
This image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps seemed to fit the occasion, and you can find it here. I've coloured with markers and hand written the sentiment. Of course, the inside message won't be quite so positive, after all, it is my brother! lol
For the card background, I've used a crackle stamp.....to represent some wrinkles, and added a few patterns of washi tape. For embellishment...some paper candi, and some die cuts for the corner and the number 60.

Dancing Girl
I think it is safe now to broadcast the news....Spring is finally here!!! I've actually been outside, starting on my yard work. Still too early for the gardens, but some things are starting to pop up. Definitely doing the happy dance!
Something a little different today, using this sillouette stamp from Flonz. Stamped with a brown Memento ink pad, I then had a play with my new die - Flourish Frame from Spellbinders. As this fills up nearly the entire card, I went with a very simply DP for in behind. Along with a bow, and a small gem stone, I've added some small gold peel-off stickers for embellishment.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope you have a wonderful day.
