You're Extra Special!

Today I am thrilled to introduce our "extra-special" Guest Designer for the day - Bev Gerard of Savor the Journey.

I have had the opportunity to work with Bev on a couple of Design Teams and she is one of the sweetest people I have met online. I hope to say someday that I have met her in person!

She designed the cutest greeting for us today using one of our digital images, Paper Boy.

Isn't her coloring and paper piecing great? I love that she used some newsprint paper for her background. Bev will be joining us for one of our challenges in December, so you can look forward to another one of her creations coming up!

We Need To Catch Up

Happy Black Friday friends!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to spend a nice time with family and friends.  Maybe some of you might have gotten a few deals today too! But if you are like me, Cyber Monday is more my speed. :)

Today I wanted to share this darling image of Snail Rake.  A perfect image to use for the special someone you are wanting "to catch up" with.

I colored the image with Copics and used a block pattern with my patterned paper called Acorn Hollow from Little Yellow Bicycle. The image was cut out with my oval nesties and popped up over the block pattern finished with some canvas ribbon and a paper flower.

It's Week 2 for our interactive challenge! Yes, it IS a challenge, but we know there are challenge lovers out there!

This week's challenge seems to really be a challenge, but that's what it's all about, right? Our challenge for Hoedown #138 is to create an INTERACTIVE PROJECT.  Your cards, or other items, must MOVE in some way.

This team ROCKS interactive!!

Our Hoedown Challenge is a twice-a-month challenge, on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Participants can use ANY image to play along, as long as the challenge requirement is met. So that means more time to play and create something fantastic to share!

Two winners will be chosen from each challenge, Best in Show, and a random Queen of the Hoedown. Those winners will each receive a Hambo digital image as their prize, as well as a fun badge for their blogs.
You can see the winners from our last challenge HERE.

The Hoedown Challenge is open to ALL images, from any company, digital or rubber. Our prize winners, however, will be chosen from those using Hambo images. So ANYONE is welcome to play with ANY image for fun. Come join us!

Sending Hambo Smiles

Happy Day!!!  Kendra here today sending you some smiles with a few cute digital images from Hambo Stamps.  I used the Cat digi and a sweet sentiment from the Bailey Flower digital set.
