Welcome Guest Designer Isha Gupta!

Today we welcome Isha Gupta to the Guest spot in the Pig Pen! Isha is a former Bacon Bits DT member, and we are thrilled to have her share a cool, trendy and oh-so-hot neon design with us today!
Isha says:
I'm Isha Gupta. I am a stay-at-home mom to my two daughters.  I love to read, sing, bake, crochet, or play Board Games with my younger daughter in my free time. I've always been creative but got hooked on stamping about three years ago.

I've been published in Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking, CARDS, CardMaker, Take Ten, Just Cards and Parchment Craft magazines. I recently was on the cover of CardMaker Spring 2014 and Paper Crafts 350 Cards & Gifts.

I love exploring new techniques and applying them to my projects. One of my favorite techniques is creating watercolor backgrounds with stamps and ink. Two styles you will see most from me are cute and whimsical, classic and traditional.

I am absolutely delighted to be here at Hambo as a guest designer. My love for Hambo stamps started when I was in the team last year!

We are glad to have Isha back with us - if only for a day! Take a look at her adorable and eye-catching design:
LOVE the neon! Never Sent Flours (1418) and Flours (1417) are available here.

Hope your have a tail-wagging good Birthday!!

This has been a week of birthday cards and today is no different... I have a fun BIRTHDAY card and gift tag combo using Bailey Cupcake.
For the card, I created a circle around the image using the sentiment provided. I used papers that I think are fun and perfect for a boy card – which is awesome since I have a particular little boy in mind! AND…honestly, you can never go wrong with a Bailey!
Hambo Bailey Cupcake Card
My card layout is from this week’s sketch challenge at Splitcoast Stampers(SC472) and it is a pretty fun one.
sc472color - Copy
For my tag, I used similar supplies, but I punched out a few sizes of circles with the Designer Paper and ran the tag through my Cuttlebug with the Happy Birthday embossing folder. I added some ribbons, and bone button and Voila!
Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

A Favor for the Party Elephant!

Hi Hoedown friends!  Kendra here today and I'm sharing this fun little party favor that I made using the Party Elephant digital image from Hambo Stamps.   Super cute huh?

To make the pocket, I simply cut a piece of two-sided pattern paper 4" x 7 1/2", scored it at 4", and rounded the corners.  I used Scor-tape to hold it in place.  Then I wrapped some twine around it several times, tied a bow and added a some little happy birthday tags (from my computer).  Easy Peasy!

Girls Like Football Too....

Hello friends!
Deborah here and today I want to share with you a fun image that is perfect for the upcoming Super bowl.  It's called Football Girl.  The best part is that you can color her in your favorite team colors and really get creative to show your support.

For me, I colored her in with my long ago high school colors.  I didn't want to pick one team or another. (although.. **Cough** GO BRONCOS!) :)  This little cutie is colored with Copics and I used a little pointillism for the sky and ground.  The paper is from Echo Parks This and That collection. I left off a sentiment for addition to later, but think of all you can say?!!  The card was finished with some ribbon and a button.  One thing I noticed while making this card, is how limited supplies I have for sports going ideas! I definitely don't have too many unless it has to do with basketball or baseball.  The only two sports my kids play.  I really wanted to add a few more elements, but... I couldn't find any!

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you all stay warm and have a great day!
~Deborah
