Yep, it's getting to be that time of year again.....when school's out and the "there's nooooothiiiiiiiing to dooooooooooooooooo" moaning starts. Seriously, I do really enjoy the first little bit that the kids are on summer break, even if it's just mostly 'cause of lunches. I don't mind making them so much....my kids don't like to take "normal" lunches. They want a little of this and a little of that. So some crackers, and some cheese, and a turkey pepperette, and some grapes, and some yogurt etc., never sandwiches or the like. So, when they come home they dump umpteen numbers of dirty containers out of their lunch bags. When I'm washing them all up for the next day you can often hear me mutter, "Here I am again....in Container Hell.
But I digress. This is about teacher's gift. And here are the three I made this year. It's a cute little box containing note cards. I got all the info from this video tutorial from
Two Scrapbook Friends. And I discovered that when using a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock you can then make 4 note cards to put inside the box and you use almost the whole piece. I find the lid is a bit tight but it does do the trick.
