Hippity-Hoppity @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Sandy's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying "Hippity-Hop" which means that she wants to see a bunny....or anything that hops!

This is what I did.....

I used a freebie from MeinLilaPark that I've had for awhile. Not sure if she still does digis....her site is mostly printables....but they're cool too!

I almost used the challenge title right on the card. I couldn't do the second "-ity" though. I picture the bunny saying that line sarcastically....and I thought adding the ity made him sound a little more mean than on the resigned side.  This'll be an Easter card for my oldest...which is why I went with non tradition Easter colours (I don't think I could make pastels work for a 16 year old boy...especially not this 16 year old), as well as a bunny who sounds like he's been long-suffering.  The boy has had to live with me all his life so silent sighing and inward eye-rolling at my antics I'm sure are plentiful.  I thought I'd make the bunny look like he was commiserating.

So, why not get hopping and head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

You Are Tough - Fab Friday @ Tiddly Inks

It's the last Friday of the month so you know what that means.....Fab Friday!  Time for some Tiddly Inks inspiration.

This is what I did.....

I used the new Lou - Fight Like a Girl digi.  Christy drew this special for our DT Coordinator, Lou, who's sparring with cancer right now.  It's a freebie, and it comes with a colouring page, so be sure to go and snatch it up.

Make sure you go check out the other fabulous Fabby Friday makes the rest of the DT has come up with.  You can see 'em all right here.

Also for:

Aud Sentiments:  any sentiment except for birthday
As You Like It:  favourite colouring medium - Prismacolor pencils all the way!  I like how you can control how much colour to put down with them....not something you can really do with markers.
Craft Rocket:  make it feminine
Star Stampz:  add gems or pearls
Crafty Cardmakers:  for a special woman
Crafty Calendar:  special female
Jo's Scrap Shack:  anything goes

It's Clear To Me @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Kate's turn to chose the challenge and she got a fun one for us! She's saying, "It's Clear To Me" which just means that she wants to see us use some sort of transparency or a window.

I decided to make one of my favourite type of cards....

a shaker card!  I'll admit I went a little overboard with the microbeads.....but I like my shaker cards to sound extra shaky so I wasn't upset about it.  Digi was a freebie from Birdie Brown who has long since closed up shop.

So, why not make it clear to yourself and then head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Tag It! @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Mandy's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying "Tag It!" which means that she wants to see projects with a tag or, you could just do a tag.

Long-time readers might remember that I'm not a fan of making tags.  I just can't do them.  But, I can add little tags to cards.....

I went with a spring theme and used my favourite spring flowers, poppies.  And, guess what, my friends.....that there is a rubber stamp (from Rubbernecker Stamps) not a digi.  Yep, I actually had to ink that up and everything.

So, why not try tagging it and then head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Plaids & Polka Dots @ Little Red Wagon

This week at

it's Donna's turn to choose the challenge and she's saying "Plaids & Polka Dots"....I'm pretty sure everyone will know what that means.

This is what I did.....

Let's just say that they paper was darn dotty when I first picked it out of the pack.  I really didn't take into account the fact that I was going to end up covering up most of the dotty hexagons with other paper.  Oh well, at least I didn't end up covering them all up!  Digi is from DigiStamp Boutique.

So, why not dot and plaid it up and then head on over to Little Red Wagon and link up? And, while you're there, be sure to check out the wonderful projects the other Girlfriends have created.

Animal Magic! @ Tiddly Inks

This month at

we've got an easy one for you. The challenge is "Animal Magic!" which means we want to see a project using an animal of some kind....and a Tiddly Inks image, of course!

This is what I did.....

I used one of the pups from Dog Days. He's pretty cute, eh?  Coloured on watercolor paper again for this.

I was a little miffed with myself when I finished the card and realized that's it's pretty much exactly like the last Tiddly Inks card I made.  I need to step up my game a bit and not be so lazy!  I'll do something different than this for this month's Fab Friday, promise!

So, why not grab your favourite Tiddly Inks critter and join us for the challenge?  And be sure to  check out the fabulousness the DT has come up with.

Also for:

The Crazy Challenge:  we love animals
Pile It On:  humour/puns
Starz Stampz:  make it monochrome
Through the Purple Haze:  male colours
