Hello welcome back for another fun theme at The Pixie Dust Studio Challenges! As you probably have guessed we love to see your creations containing as many swirls as you can muster without getting dizzy! I chose to use Lil' Miss Cupcake from the most current release Goodies. Here is my card:
As much as I love this image I have to wonder if that dear pixie has a sticky bum from sitting on that frosting? What do you think? I just love this dp I have but a scrap left which makes me happy-sad. I believe it's by K&cOmpany but I can't find the cover sheet! The Swirly metal corner pieces are from WeRMakingMemories and the gift ribbon snippets are a local hobby store brand. Well thanks for stopping by and don't foget to see the rest of the Pixies swirly creations. Beth

Where have all my flowers gone?
Every year I mutter these words even though I already know the answer...This weeks challenge #26 at Your Next Stamp Challenges is perfect for anyone else suffering the pangs of flower loss. We'd love for you to create your own flowers. I was really excited about this however I couldn't decide what materials I was going to use. At the last moment, my kitty decided for me as I caught her playing with my black hemp. Here is my card:
This flower was pretty easy for each petal I used three strands of hemp with one a bit longer than the other. I then glued the ends together creating a petal. I repeated this step 6 more times and then glued all the petals together. I then topped off with a braded button not only for interest but for concealing the gooey mess behind the button. Yippee Fhiona. seems especially happy on this card and that makes me especially happy!
I can't wait to see how you create your lovely flowers!
I have a few challenges for this card:

Let's hop hop hop
Happy Monday to you! Are you ready for a fun blog hop? Great! E.A.D/ Torendi have teamed up for this event, if you have come from Cassie's you are in the right spot otherwise you may wan't to start from the very beginning,. The very beginning is do re mi... do re mi fa so la ti do...ooops I mean E.A.D! When Jenn from Torendi asked me if I'd like to participate in this hop I was pretty excited. I knew I would be receiving stickerz but when I got the new set Monster Birthday I flipped out! I really wanted to show off their fun personality so I gave them strength by placing them on plastic packaging and painted white acrylic paint on the back side to make the fun colors pop.Of course, keep in mind you can get them on a white background if you desire. My creations are a fun set for that special friend at school or teacher.
I created this gift box using a template off the SCS sight, they have quite a selection. This was a tomb stone template using kraft cs. I pretty much ran all these projects useing the spots embossing folder as well as used white a teal acrylic paint to stamp on spots.

This Mini Cupcake Stand is a Liegh Ann Baird template and it is the cutest idea she rocks!
