Santa Claus is coming to Town!

Hello Everyone!  Today the JustRite team are showcasing the new Blizzard Bunch stamp set!!  Designed by Diane Arthurs this fun, whimsical set is ribbed and fits the Oval stamper.  It comes with 4 interchangeable centres and borders for you to play with to create your Christmas cards this year!

I began with a base of aqua bazzill and layered with white and some Jolly By Golly DP.  The vertical panel is more white (punched with the MS loop punch) and topped with more Jolly By Golly DP.  Around these panels I've attached some silver satin ribbon.  The Santa centre and border is from Blizzard Bunch and has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (BG0000, B000, B21, W1, E000, E01, C1, C3, C5, C7, G12, G24, G28, Y13, Y15, Y17, R24, R29, R39, 0).  It was cut out with Small Oval Nestabilities and matted with Beaded Oval Nestabilities.  I've accented with a bow to the ribbon and topped with a red button and silver cord, two silver snowflakes that I've accented with clear rhinestones and finished with two clear rhinestones in the top corner.

Don't miss the fabulous creations made by the girls today.....

Christmas Trimmings

Hello Everyone!!  Today is the first day of the JustRite July Release!!!  Yes, I know it's still June, but with CHA coming up fast and many of the team away, we are starting today!!  :)  Today's set is Christmas Trimmings and is a CLING set which is perfect for Christmas with many different decorative elements to play with!

I've stamped the wreath and garland in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copic Markers (G24, G28, R29, R59, Y21, Y35).  The ornaments across the bottom are from the same set and have been stamped in Memento Ladybug, Bamboo Leaves and Cantaloupe, finishing with a clear rhinestone in the centre of each as well as in the top corners.

Blessed Roses

Hello Everyone!!  Sorry I haven't posted for a while - I've had sick kids and I've been super busy with upcoming projects!!!  Keep an eye out next week for a HUGE release from JustRite and I've also been busy making things that are going to be published in a few Australian Cardmaking Magazines!!  :)  Very exciting!!!  On top of all this, I have two Copic Classes in Maryborough (QLD) this Saturday and I've been busy preparing for that and looking forward to meeting the lovely ladies there!

Today's card is using one of my FAV images from Flourishes - don't you just LOVE these roses from the A Year in Flowers 2 set!  It's been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (RV000, RV32, RV34, G20, G21, G24, G28), cut out and popped up on foam tape.  The framing is made up of a Label 13 die (pink), Lacey Circles (green) and Large Circle Nestabilities (white).  I used this pretty Rose Garden DP by Papermania and accented with some White Crochet Lace and Pink Satin Ribbon.  The sentiment is from Flourishes' Spring Bouquet set and stamped directly to the paper in Memento Tuxedo Black.

Stamps - A Year of Flowers 2, Spring Bouquet (Flourishes)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Pink, Green, White, Papermania Rose Garden DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large Circle, Lacey Circle and Label 13 Nestabilities, White Crochet Lace, Pink Satin Ribbon, Bow Easy, Foam Tape.

We’d also love to know what you would like to see more of. The winner will recieve a set of 12 Copic Ciao and a bottle of our new X-Press It Clear Gel Glue. You have until Midnight (AEST) Tuesday June 21, 2011 to comment on the CopicOz Post. Winner will be announced on Wednesday June 22, 2011.
For my Aussie friends, many of you will have used the OLD Pritt Gel Glue and then they changed the formula???  I know a lot of people are very unhappy with the new formula.  Well, when I was doing product testing for the new X-press It Clear Gel Glue, it was honestly hard to tell the difference between the Xpress It Glue and the OLD Pritt, they both worked in the same way - in fact the X-press It was a little better on Satin Ribbon.  I've used it on paper, acetate, grosgrain, satin, paper flowers, chipboard, buttons, bows, even 5c coins.......they have all held fast and are still stuck down!  The other awesome difference between the two, is that this is BIGGER - 125ml compared to the old Pritt 95ml.....AND.....it has a screw on lid - NO MORE dried out, clogged glue!!!!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this glue!!!!  Want to win some along with a fab pack of 12 Ciao Markers???  Head on over to the CopicOz Blog and leave a comment on THE COPICOZ POST!!!!

That's all from me for now, thanks for visiting and don't forget to comment for your chance to win!!!  :)

I Would Be Lost...

Hello Everyone!  I have had a HUGE week-end with three days at the Brisbane Papercraft Expo followed by the Copic Intermediate Certification!!!  Talk about needing a rest!!  :)  Today's card is one I made just before the week-end and is another masculine card using JustRite's new You Are My Anchor set!  As someone who loves making pretty, girly cards; it's surprised me how much I love and am using this masculine set!  It is going to be soooooooo useful!!!!

I decided to go for a more antique feel with this one, while still trying to keep that masculine feel.  The base is Chocolate Chip, White, brown bazzill and some Kaisercraft Le Chateau DP.  Over this is a panel of more brown (punched with MS Zig Zag punch) and Le Chateau and then added some knotted grosgrain.

The Compass has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X-press It Blending Card and coloured with Copics (E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, YR21, 0).  It's been cut out with large circle Nestabilites, matted with chocolate chip cut with small circle Nestabilities and matted again with brown cut with Pinking Circle Nestabilities.

Stamps - You Are My Anchor (JustRite)
Paper - X-press It Blending Card, Chocolate Chip, White, Brown Bazzill, Kaisercraft Le Chateau DP
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories - Copics, Large, Small and Large Pinking Circle Nestabilities,  MS Zig Zag Punch, Brown Grosgrain Ribbon, Foam Tape.

That's all from me today, thanks for visiting!!!  :)
