August is Artist Appreciation Month!

Back on the blog to post about artists that influence me.
My dear friend, Jeanette, passed away suddenly last October. I have such fond memories of her. She was always up for being excited about something artistic I was doing.
We often would go to Metropolitan Market (an upscale local grocery store) to pick out flowers and a card for sick friends and I remember us being so excited about Patience Brewster's line of greeting cards. Today, I was just not feeling it. I am struggling with this project, Is anyone even out there aware of it? I feel like quitting, can you tell? Anyway, finally pulled this one out of my hat somehow.
