Pick o the patch

Hey everyone

It has been a beautiful week!  a little too humid for me but still it could be worse!  

My favorite season is fall... love the colours, the temperature, i love everything about the fall!

here is a card I made inspired by some challenges in blog world.

and some close ups of my water painting... with CTMH ink and the water brush (sorry we don't sell them anymore).  I really wanted it to be monochromatic and ombre.

My bestie from the westie's bday card

Hey everyone... so my BFF from Alberta had her bday this week and she has a layover in Toronto from her trip to Italy so i get to spend some time with her tomorrow morning. All she wanted me to bring is Shawarma!!  go figure.. but apparently Lethbridge Alberta doesn't have great Shawarma so if anyone is interested in a great business.. you know where to go!!

Any hooo... i made a card for her

When i saw the stamp set i knew i had to get it for her... love that girl to pieces

and the cute little flower from stamping bella - what a bargin - i think i paid $1 for it... love it

and of course the inside...

I used my CTMH washi tape set... great idea... love the look of Washi but hate that it doesn't stick!!  plus now i can use so many different colours

LMCB- try something new

Lasting memories has another challenge going on this week and its to try something new.  My layout is using the new cartridge from close to my heart "artbooking".  It was so easy to use and I love how it turned out!!   If you are Canadian and looking to purchase "artbooking"  go to my web and check it out... i love the stamp sets it comes with!!! site is here!! The designers have taken different views.  Some like me use a new product others have completed their layout about something new that they have tried.   You must go and check them all out!!

The picture is of my baby in 1998 at the beach.  Here are some close ups. 

I dry embossed the waves at the bottom.  The letters are stamped with ctmh stamps.

So again one of my staff is celebrating her birthday and I am making them all something unique.

and the super adorabe card i made to go with it...

the stamps are CTMH and I used my cricut to cut out the lime and the coconut.

Now they didn't have a coconut so i used the wild cards cartridge which had a card shape with a hole in the middle... the white and the little circle voila... coconut!
