I want to see wood or woodgrain this week

It can be a stamp, paper, actual wood..whatever you like

I went with some My Minds eye and some veneer pieces that I misted

O Daddy-Oh Hilites...

Judy here with the hilites this week of my Oh Daddy-Oh Challenge. There were lots of great cards offered up this week and very creative crafters out there. My hope was to help you all get some Father's Day cards created for that special Dad in your life.

Loved the old fashioned feel to the card Jessi created. Love that old wood grain paper from Cosmo Cricket. She actually created three cards but this was my fav...

I loved the cheekiness of Catherine's card. I am sure there are lots of Dad's out there that will partake of a cold one on Father's Day. I really enjoyed the colors in this card as well. That digistamp is a lot of fun!

The shirt and tie card from Ruthie is just perfect. Loving the buttons on the neck lapels So cute! And I love the pop up. Visit her blog to catch a glimpse of it!

DIY Patterned Paper Featured Projects

Okay, so it looks like many of you rather just buy your patterned paper than make it (or I'll chalk it up to the busy long weekend in Canada), since we didn't have that many participants this past week.

Nevertheless, these DIY papers really caught my eye:

Kimberly--Honeycomb is all the rage right now, so I loved this background stamp

Fern--the stamped flourishes add such softness to this beautiful wall hanging

Sharon--I like that she created a floral vine climbing up her beautifully embossed wall

Challenge #133--DIY Patterned Paper

Hey there!  Tammy here today to bring you your new Little Red Wagon Challenge.

Although there is fabulous paper out on the market that we love to hoard buy, one of my favourite things to do is create my own patterned paper using my stamps.

So . . . my challenge to you is a Do-It-Yourself challenge:

Design your own patterned paper (stamped, painted, computer generated, . . .) and use it as a key feature on your card.
