Mixed Media Canvas with the cute STAMPlorations Birdies :)

This little canvas has been sitting on my shelf since July, I just realized that I hadn't posted it on the blog yet. 

I used Gelatos for the background and a Dutch Dobadoo stencil for the circles. The beautiful birdies are from STAMPlorations, the words are from PI.

I do love the technique with the acrylic paint and the foil, makes it look so very special :)

Winter Dreams

A little something for a gloomy day. 

It's stormy and raining at approx. 8°C, this is NOT what I want for winter, I want sunshine, snow and freezing temps, well, not too freezing, just low enough to let the snow stay :)

I used the steam punk owl from Viva Las VegaStamps and Darkroom Door stamps for the background. The sentiment is from the "Words" set from Art Journey.

Have a wonderful Sunday, make the best of it, maybe snuggle up on the couch, that's my plan for later in the afternoon ♥
