Santa! I know him!

I can't wait until this Christmas to start playing with my holiday goodies so I'm finding some photos from last Christmas that I haven't scrapped yet. I love this Document December kit from Elle's studio.
Not affiliated / Just love it & want to enable :)

I found the background patterned paper in my stash. I have no idea who even makes it, but it has little tiny trees on it and it's so adorable. I thought it would be a good neutral for my Santa cut file, which is NEW at Paper Issues. All their cut files are FREE!

Everything else is from the above mentioned kit. Of course I turned Santa's hat into a shaker with some sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps. #Can'tStopWon'tStop

This page is based off a scraplift challenge at Paper Issues this month.

hello Santa.

I was digging through some old photos for the geneology challenge at Paper Issues this month and I found this gem of my brother when he was little.

I'm using the Document December kit from Elle's Studio for this 8.5x11 page. I don't typically do a dedicated 'December Daily' album, but I still love all the bits and pieces that come in the kits. I just cut up the journal cards and use them on my layouts like embellishments or patterned paper layers. You don't have to limit them to pocket pages!

Thanks for looking!

fall.

One of the challenges at Paper Issues this month is to use the word 'fall' on your page. I found this cut file and got right to work.

Everything on this page is Elle's Studio - some of the 6x6 Sweater Weather paper pad and some of the October 2018 kit. The woodgrain, the white with green leaves, and the text paper I used to back my cut file are all journal cards. I may not do Project Life, but I still use cute journal cards :)

November Scrap Our Stash blend a sketch challenge.

This is our challenge this month and I've made some adjustments. Firstly, I scrapped 8.5x11 size and really enjoyed it. Secondly, I rotated the sketch on the left and used the strips of paper horizontally instead of vertically as shown in the sketch.
So this is what my inspiration looks like, if that's helpful.
Here's my page:

I started with the cut file and knew I wanted to expand it across the two photos. I chose the photo placement from the right sketch. Then I layered the paper strips as I mentioned above. For my finishing touch, I added some pennant and banner cardstock stickers.

Thanks for looking!

Christmas Joy.

I was in the mood for some holiday scrapping tonight so I pulled out this photo from 2001. Back when we all got together for Christmas and all of us cousins were younger, we would have to take a photo of all of us in front of the tree. Every year.

I used a lot of new Elle's Studio goodies on this one. Their new 6x6 paper pad and some of the new journal tags and embellishments from their Document December kit. My title is a cut file from Paper Issues.
Thanks for looking!

God gave me you.

Scrap the Boys has a fun challenge this month - you get to scrap YOU with your boy! Of course, I printed off a wedding photo and scrapped my husband :)

This is all the new Midnight collection by Cocoa Vanilla Studio. It's just beautiful. I ordered mine from My Little Scrapbook Store here in the US (CVS can be hard to find!) and I'm not affiliated with them in any way, BUT they do have some still available (I may have just placed a second order!).

The cut file is FREE at Paper Issues (my favorite source for cut files and they're ALL free!) and I used some sequins on the little flower buds.

Easter 2015.

I'm working on the album I'm making for my brother for Christmas and I found this photo of his dog at Easter a few years ago. That had me searching through my Silhouette library to see what Easter bunny cut files I had. This one is free at Paper Issues.

I smeared some gel medium inside the ears and just plopped some sequins down. It's hard to tell in this photo, but the ears the dog is wearing have silver sequins on them. So I tried to repeat that in this design. Hopefully they'll stick!

Thanks for looking:)
