happy together.

Hello again! Today I'm sharing a page made for the remix challenge at Scrap Our Stash this month.

I used the Day Dream collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I still need to add my journaling. This is from a weekend spent in Columbus with my brother and his family. We went to the zoo there and had a a really great day. Thanks for looking!

love this time of year [Challenge YOUrself #85].

I'm back! It's been a while, but I am still on the team at Challenge YOUrself!

My husband and I both came down with Covid at the beginning of November. Neither of us were terrible ill at the time, but it sure delayed several appointments and miscellaneous things we had to do. Right after that came the busy holiday season I didn't have time or energy to scrap the rest of the year!

Our first challenge of 2021 is to scrap your favorite memory from 2020. I know 2020 was hard on many of you. One of my favorite moments was when a strange bought our meal one evening in December. This has never happened to me before and I was so surprised! I love how the holidays bring out generosity in people. We paid it forward, of course!

So we'd love to see the highlights of your 2020! Please head over to the Scrap YOUrself blog for rules and to upload your pages. Can't wait to 'see' you more in 2021!

holly + jolly.

This page was made for the 'cards against humanity' challenge at Paper Issues. We are challenged to use 3x4 journal cards on a page. I used two on this page to scrap my brother's Christmas card this year.

I did add some gesso to the background and use a little bit of mixed media. I just kind of wanted my whole cluster to stand out a bit more from the background. Everything is from Elle's Studio - this all just coordinated with my American Crafts background paper so well!

2019 review.

Paper Issues got me with their 'Jenga' challenge this month. It's a year in review challenge and I'm not ready to do 2020 yet, but I did a page for 2019.

I used some distress inks on the background with the packaging technique. Printed journaling in strips. Just added a few small embellishments. Thanks for looking!
